This was my first time here and it will be my last. I had a chicken shawarma and a pop ($13) and the taste was mediocre. There... was a ton of sauce but it's very bland with very little taste, just watered everything down. The chicken tasted ok but it's notcut fresh off the spit. The employee taking the order and cooking some stuff on the grill was very nice and engaging but the onegrilling and wrapping the shawarma has zero customer service skills. For a store that is in a brand new plaza it seems clutteredand messy inside. There is a lot of parking available. Summary: Clean Shawarma location. Halal (do your own checks). Courteous staff. Multiple options. Boils down to whether you like... Taza's Shawarma or not. Has a student special. Lucky kids. In details Halal: visible halal signs everywhere. Do your ownchecks Taste: I ordered the SAJ. The wrap was delicious. Best I have eaten in the GTA. It was soft, slightly chewy and feltfreshly made. The chicken was good, classic shawarma. The pickles were a little too much to my taste. Some people might like it.If you want to go easy on the pickles, please tell them. Garlic sauce was delicious. Side note, the wrap to chicken ratio wasvery good except on one edge. Suprisingly there was an extra layer of pita inside the wrap! I am not sure why they put a layerof pita in, maybe to preserve the structural integrity of the wrap but this needs some rethinking.
