Had Smashburger at the Airport before catching our flight, overall 5/10, the burger was not bad I like the concept of the... burger, but I guess because it is the Airport they have the burgers and fries already made so it is a hit-miss thing, my frieswere moist 2 burgers were fresh hot and the 3rd was cold. I was in line to order some chicken tenders while in transit. There was two people in the line (including me) when it turned... 10pm. After serving a customer, realizing that it had turned 10pm, the cashier took off the display/monitor lights off and toldus the restaurant was closed. As I was in the line before the restaurant closed, I would have expected the employee to take ourorders...especially since at 10pm, there are few places open to eat. Read more
Ordered for family. I had the Mushroom & Swiss burger, a chocolate shake, and Smash Fries.Slow prep. Burger was sad -... overcooked, odd flavor, and you could not see the burger for the bun. The fries were not Smash Fries and the container washalf-filled. The shake tasted a little off and was served with a low-qaulity paper straw. They then gave me a plastic spoon toreplace the paper straw - not sure how that helped the environment. My son's chicken fingers were dry and served withrefrigerator-cold BBQ sauce (which he elected not to eat). He said his shake tasted like paper. My wife's meal, a chickenmushroom & swiss, was "edible." I have had Smash Burger in other locations and was shocked by how bad this was. Read more
If the avocado burger had any less flavour I would have forgotten I was eating and choked to death. The sweet potato fries were... cold and soggy. Sad value for $20 bucks . Shake shack should come to YYZ and run this place into the ground. Add it to the listof disappointing Pearson experiences. Shame. Read more
Took about 15 minutes to get my order (somewhat expected in an airport). Fries were soaked with grease, it was awful, I ate a... couple then threw the rest away. My burger was cold and the vegetables tasted off. The lettuce was starting to spoil. I wouldhave given 1 star but the self service kiosk was great. Props to whoever designed it. Would have eaten at subway if I had known. Read more
This place was absolutely disgusting. The cup of fries I got had a cup of oil at the bottom. How do you not get rid of the oil... before you serve the fries? The burger was disgusting, it was so dry that you would think you're eating sawdust. Read more
