I have ordered from them since 2017 and still one of the best priced, delicious food places out there. The customer service is... still very friendly. Boneless jerk chicken roti is one of my faves. It was a plump filled roti with lots of chicken that mademe super full halfway into it. The homemade hot sauce is truly HOT and full of goodness that is not the sour or super liquidycheap stuff. I love spicy hot sauces but this is honestly my favourite hot sauce to this date. They have always been improvingsince and I am happy to support this business. Read more

I will start by this: the food was AMAZING!!!! We ordered the chicken curry roti, goat curry roti and a side of rice. The goat... and chicken melted in our mouths with a really nice flavor. I will say that the potatoes in the curry were a bit too mushy, aswell as more dhalpuri mix in the roti itself. Use that pepper sauce lightly! There should also be an option for plain rice,since thats what we were hoping to get, instead of rice and peas :) That being said, the pricing on the menu was outdated. Aswell, the term "roti" is pretty specific, since I assumed it would be like the general 'roti' (which does not contain dhalpurimix as that would be a dhalpuri itself). Everytime I'm feeling like some Jerk Chicken, this is my go to place!???? I usually order the Rice, Peas, Jerk Chicken + Oxtail... to get some variety. The plate is always bang on. What really sets this place apart from other Jerk Chicken stores is theirgravy! Their gravy is super flavourful and has a nice thickness. You're definitely getting what you pay for. Had a channa roti, and to be honest, I was not impressed. I think I had too little filling and a whole lotta roti shell. Also,... the coleslaw is sweet, which is not something I was expecting. I?m sure there are great items on the menu though, and I wouldtry it out again! Read more
I used to be so happy to recommend Shandra's to anyone asking for Jamaican food. I think the bubble has burst. On my latest... visit, I ordered a small curry goat. I was quite disappointed by the taste and value. It lacked enough seasoning,curry and salt.Also there wasn't any gravy to moisten my rice. A couple spoonfuls would have been nice. The rice and peas was OK and plentiful.The coleslaw was OK. The goat was tender with a little chew. The prices have increased. A small goat cost me $16 + tax =$18. Abit steep for lunch IMHO. There are better options in the dixie eglington area. Only for the die hards. Read more
