I eat Jamaican food everywhere I go, this is the first place that serves an amount of oxtail that I'm satisfied with. Usually... I'm always wanting more, but this place, I'm stuffed! Ummmm. That sums up my reaction to this place. Based on the reviews and pics, I had higher expectations. Upon entering, it had... sort of a dingy feel, and an odd smell, sort like an old or stale smell. Based on that I figured I'd order my food to go, andNOT dine in. Waited a while before someone came out to take my order. When I made my order, the person serving me just said"yeah, we can't do that". Lol. I asked several questions to get an understanding of why? What I understood was they weren'tdoing made to order. To be fair, it was 2 hours before closing, maybe that's why, although that wasn't properly explained ????. I still think 2 hours is a decent amount of time but ???????????. Honestly the vibe was weird, so I didn't bother asking whatthey did have that I could order at that time, I just left, and went somewhere else. So I can't rate their food. My rating isbased solely on my experience with the customer service and the feel of the place. It was my first time ever going there. Basedon that alone I wouldn't recommend it, or go back. Was in just last Wednesday for lunch with my supervisor. It was my first time here. Ordered jerk chicken with a Jamaican patty.... The Jamaican patty is always delicious but the jerk chicken was the star of the show! It was so flavourful and having it withthe rice was just something special. I really enjoyed it and it was definitely one of my favourite jerk chicken places. 10/10for flavour! A must visit if you want Jamaican food. Will definitely be back in the future! Read more

This place was recently renovated, and looks a bit more upscale now. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, generous portions. I... ordered the jerk chicken lunch special, and it took about 5 minutes to arrive. Jerk chicken, peas and rice, and coleslaw, plus asoft drink, for about the price of a fast food combo.
