Food was average. Nothing extraordinary. Only 1 server out of 4 was putting efforts in the work. EDIT: After posting the review... owner responded to my review like he is trying to win the case in court and trying to prove I was not even at restaurant. Alsowhat does it have to do with me being Gujarati. If you can not take feedback from person of any background or ethnicity justdon't let them enter in your new 10,000/ sq ft upcoming location (As per your response). As for my original review I tried tokeep it short but now you can check the full review below: - It took 15 minutes to bring the food after plates were on thetable - servers were really slow when we asked for puri and roti it took them 5 minutes each time to bring it. Till then we weresitting with empty plates. Only 1 server, lady with glasses was listening to what we were asking for. Others tend to just forgetabout the orders - dhokla were slate and cold - rise was cold - after getting the rice my wife ordered daal but it did not comeafter 10 minutes, so we just washed our hands and got up. At that time the server came with daal. Too late isn't it? - onlything we found were up to the mark was Undhiyu, puri and kadhi. Rest was average. - All washrooms were in very bad condition. Nohygiene at all. Anyone who went to this restaurant can confirm that. P.S. To the owner: this is my only account and I am agoogle local guide. I don't like to post fake reviews. I post based on my experience and service that was provided. If you cannot take it as a feedback just don't be in service business. Read more

Excited to try coz of wife recommendation. Premium price 25.99 on the weekends and weekend start off Friday evening. Nothing... exceptional for the price. Only average food served. Dal was too sweet for me and khadi is as well and also had pungent curdsmell which I didn't like.Panner gravy was tasteless. Dal bhati , roti , poori are only dish i got extra serving. Not satisfiedas not all the dishes from thali menu were served ( salad, papad, dhokla) Read more

Have been here twice! The first time their thali was really good. They had a lot of dishes and they tasted good. However on my... second visit , I specifically came for the dal baati thali and was disappointed. Everything on the thali was too sweet. I didnot really enjoy eating the dal baati too. Overall it?s a good place to go to if you?re craving veg food. The service andambience is okay. Read more

One of the good places for Authentic Rajasthani thali. The thali has almost 10-15 different items. The food quality is good.... Everything was pretty standard. Extra star for keeping it simple and sweet. A couple of negative stars for the restaurantrules, where we order a couple of items from the menu ( other than thali items) but they refused to serve them on the table. Theresponse was ?it?s just available for takeout only? ????. Service is good but kinda slow. For the given price the thali optionis definitely worth it. Gonna visit again for sure.. Read more

We got their unlimited thali as we had to get refills for couple of items. Most of the curries tasted good. (need to have a... palate for North Indian cuisine) Liked their Rajasthani dal, Aloo curry, Aamras and hot puris. Special shout out for theirBhaingan barta. Liked the texture and unique charred flavour. Few items that I didn't quite enjoy were Khaman (which was dry)and Gujarati dal & Kadi (which was way sweeter for my palate) Over all a nice vegetarian meal experience. Serving size ispretty good size. My advice would be to start off with a limited Thali and upgrade to unlimited if needed. Read more

Opted for the premium thali (unlimited servings). This is the way that Indians traditionally eat their meals (such as... Gujaratis.) - there are no separate courses, all items are served in a "thali", a dish with various sections / separate smallerbowls to hold different items (such as curries, dal, etc.) At Rasovara, this consisted of a disposable "thali" and 5 bowls. Thesavoury "snacks" consisted of dhokla and fried rice papad. Didn't even have a decent selection of 2 savoury snacks - "papad"doesn't count as such, pls! Curries included one with peas, cauliflower and potatoes (dry), one with paneer (with gravy), onewith flour dumplings and gravy (Rajasthani "gatte" curry) and one with potatoes and eggplant. Dal was the traditional Gujaratistyle "toor" dal (completely cold ??). Pleasantly surprised to find boiled peanuts in the dal. There needs to be an allergyadvice / warning given to customers - both on their website and bef ore patrons place their orders. Also there was "dal, batichurma" - a Rajasthani dish - with some ghee drizzled into to the dal, if preferred. This dal was cold. Sweets included "gulabjamun" and "monthal". There were 2 chutneys - a tamarind based and another was the popular green chutney. Salad comprised ofsliced cucumbers, tomatoes and onions with some "masala" sprinkled on it. There was plain rice (traditionally, rice and dal ismixed to finish the meal.) A bottle of water was provided with the meal. No "chaas" (buttermilk) is served - I checked withthe one of the servers. Clearly not what their website describes and what is shown in their various posts. Had to keep waitingbetween servings and tried to enjoy the "thali"experience - the idea is good but fails in the execution. Over priced, slowservice, cold food. PS If one has ever had a "thali" at restaurants in India (especially in Mumbai and around Gujarat), youknow what I mean. The items served are hot, the quick frequency of the servings and there's many more ch Read more

I liked the concept of serving in Patravali plates ( eco friendly). The food was terrible though except Undhiyu, which was... really good. Food was cold and they were out of breads. We paid for unlimited Thali but they were out of 3 items after servingus 1 round. Read more

If you are the one who can enjoy a fusion of Gujarati and Rajasthani cuisines, then this is your Go To place for an awesome... Unlimited Veg Thali. All the food items are served at your table, so it's not a buffet. Located in Mississauga, this place isdefinitely a gem for veg food lovers. Throughly enjoyed their daal dhokli, kathol, khaman dhokla and pakoras which felt likewere home-made. What also stood out for us was customer service of Soniya, who really seemed to enjoy her work. :) Read more
