Great food but quite pricey.
I have gone twice during their posted hours but they have been closed, successfully once and food was good
We?ve been going to pumpernickel since they reopened after Covid, and I tell you things have changed. Every-time we go in the... staff is curt and not very friendly. The food is overpriced and charges are always inconsistent. One time I went in got asandwich and a small salad with a Salmon add on and my bill was 29.95?. How? Sandwich?s are 10.94, small salad is 4.95 andsalmon add on is 6.95. Sometimes my sandwich is 16$, sometimes it?s 15$, and sometimes it?s $17. Today I went in and got a bbqchicken avocado sandwich and was charged 10.95 BUT the chicken was partially raw. Given the location people have a limited timeto grab their lunch and eat before heading back to work so there?s no time to go back in and complain. The restaurant needsproper quality control. Unfortunately I will not be coming back but hopefully someone has a better experience. Read more
This place has incredible food. So fresh and some really healthy options. Their plentiful salads is an amazing deal... $8.50 for... as much as you want. Read more
An abundance of variety for salad bar but how can one substitute hot table food- if I don?t want rice I can?t have salad... instead? They may want to add a disclaimer on their menu? Better customer service training would be an asset as well. Read more
I love pumpernickels and have tried different locations across GTA. Never have i been disappointed up till now. They should... seriously consider firing the entire staff and hiring people that have at least basic human communication skills. The food wasbelow par and not fresh at all. I really hope the corporate office sees this review and does anonymous check-in at this locationconsidering it's really taking a blow at their brand image. Read more
The food is great - very fresh salads, tasty good variety. The staff is RUDE! they need to be trained on customer service and... customer retention. If you don't want to be in the service industry....find another line of work! Read more
Attendees are very polite & the salads are so good I have made it post of my workout route???????
