When I found out that this was here after being so used to the one downtown, I was thrilled. My first time coming to this... location and I decided to be smart and check the pumpernickels.ca website to make sure of the times it was open. Lo and behold,the website says open til 3:30. I arrive at 2:03pm and find out that it actually closed at 2:00pm. Yes, I see on GOOGLE that itcloses at 2pm, but why would a company keep their personal website SO WRONG. Good food but I drive out of my way from the office only to find it closed often. I stopped going early 2020 as they keep their... location phone number a secret so I cannot call to see if they are open. I think they never reopened. Read more
The food is amazing, however the staff is not trained well. They are always lost and looks like they need guidance. There's... always one person who knows how to do all the work and seems to try to guide all the other employees. One thing I don't like isthat every time they charge me differently when i add my Avocado to my sandwich, sometimes its 1$ sometimes its 2$ and i neverhave the time to argue; yet this is super unprofessional. Excellent Quality and Value!!! The salad bar has over 11 different salads to chose from which you can combine into one bowl at a... fixed price of $8.95 + tax. You then have various protein options to add on such as salmon, chicken, boiled eggs, falafels, tunasalad etc. I ended up getting the salmon and came out to just over $16 with tax. I think this is great value. At a full servicesit-down, you'd pay $25 + TIPS for an inferior product. Definitely will go back. Read more
The service at this location is terrible. I like the food so I kept going back. I won't go back again. In the past month I... went three times. The website states they are open until 3:30pm. The first time I got there at 2:30pm. All the chairs were onthe tables and the staff was sitting around. I asked if they were closed and they said yes. I asked for the hours and she toldme they close at 2:30pm. The next time I got there at 2:00pm. Again all the chairs on the tables and the door was locked. The third time I got there at 1:30pm. I went in and and asked for a wrap. She told me she was done with serving sandwichesfor the day. I left. I won't bother going back and wasting my break time again. With the new management and new staff, i feel that their service is lacking in comparison to before. Their food quality is no... longer the greatest - fries soggy and undercooked. At the price they are charging - there are no excuses for having bad foodquality. The staff is nice however the previous staff would go out of their way to accommodate you. They might as well close at2pm as they never have food past 2pm - what is the point of advertising it as having it open when you can't accommodate thecustomers? Whereas in the past, the server would just make you a sandwich although the premade ones were sold out. It's too badas i really enjoyed my meals from there in the past. Read more
