Price is very high ???????????????? this supposed to be reasonable. Most people who eat these kind of restaurants are not rich... people. Hard working living on pay cheque to pay cheque. If cooking becomes a chore and you don't love it anymore STOP!! I used to come here all the time for a large jerk chicken rice... and peas coleslaw with oxtail gravy and 2 festival. (YES mi love niam) I went back yesterday after almost a year and I was VERYdisappointed. The chicken was TOUGH and dry out. The rice and peas had ZERO flavor, the coleslaw which is usually creamy wasextremely dry. The oxtail gravy tastes like a beef bouillon mix they drop one piece of meat in there and call it oxtail gravy.No man, this really hurts my soul but I have to talk truth!!! The service by some of the staff is completely horrible, but the newer staff and what I believe to be the one staff member that... has been there the longest are extremely nice. Sometimes the lineup/wait time is quite long but the food has never disappointedme. The quality has always been great. Read more

Went in today, ordered a jerk chicken dinner, went home and checked their was 2 piece of burned chicken legs that is not edible... and one that is half burnt took a bite and tossed it out as well. They used to serve good quality chicken here but i guess timehas changed, and the price has went up 3-4 dollars from it's original price. Today I bought a small oxtail and I was very disappointed. I received 5 pieces of oxtail ( 2bone and 3bones with meat) The... oxtail was really tuff and had no flavour. It seems like they do not season there meat properly or probably not at all. All Itasted was oil on the meat and more oil on the rice filled with the oil gravy. I had 3-4 bits into it and I couldn?t eat therest so I throw it out. I would never buy oxtail from this restaurant it?s the food isn?t worth the money and it?s disgusting.The people there are very friendly but the food is horrible. Read more

This has to be worst Caribbean restaurant I've ever been to. I originally wanted to order fried dumplings but surprise surprise... they didn't have any dumplings. Why is never having enough food a common theme at Caribbean restaurants? Asked to see the menuand the lady said they didn't have a menu to show me. I should have walked out at that point but hungry got the best of me.Ended up settling for ackee and salt fish and festivals. The lady only had two festivals left and the meal usually comes withthree. I figured she would have given me a discount since the meal was short one festival but no. She charged me full price,which was $14. Major rip-off! I will never patronize this place ever again or recommend it to anyone! A nice little Caribbean restaurant located in Meadowvale town center. Did you have your standard fare of staple Caribbean food... and for the price and how much food you actually get it?s actually a very good value. As the container that I brought home waspacked to the brim with food and if you?re not a super heavy eater can last you two meals which I always appreciate.
