Having resided in Goa for quite some time, I am quite a connoisseur when it comes to Goan-cooking. After visiting Mango Mirchi... for the seventh time, I decided to edit my review to include the following recommendation which I can assure you with confidencethat you'll love: If you wish to experience an authentic Goan meal, you must try the Chorizo Chilli (Goan pork sausage) togetherwith an order of Sannas. Both items are traditionally Goan and are best served at this restaurant because they bring back thetrue taste of home. Over my frequent visits I have had the pleasure of sampling many of their fine offerings and what I cantell you is that you'd think you're in Goa while you're eating. For an appetizer I recommend the Beef Potato Chops or the FishCroquettes, or better yet, both. For the main dish, besides the above-mentioned Chorizo, you can have a Prawn or Veg Biryani, both are absolutely tasty and well, 'justa like mama used to make'. Or if you are a fish lover you must sample their Mackerel orGolden Pomfret Fry. Have a sweet tooth? They make a delicious Bibinka and Rum cakes. The prices are quite reasonable when youconsider that Goan dishes are simply not readily available in the GTA food market as are your Chinese restaurants. Truth betold, I believe that the prices may very well be under-priced and that's because it's a ma & pa (run by Desmond and Irine)restaurant. Try some Goan dishes at the Mango Mirchi the next time you are feeling adventurous and I can assure you will fallin love with Goan-cooking! Read more

We had our lunch yesterday at Mango Mirchi. We had pork vindaloo, sannas, mutton buriyani and bebinca. Excellent food! Vindaloo... was soft and very tasty. Buriyani was flavourful and extremely good. Sannas was very well as well. Bebinca was equally good. Ifany of you want to try Mangalorean food do try at Mango Murchi. This place is authentic and very good. The owner and his sonwere very good to us. They didn't have eat in yesterday as all workers called in sick. When I mentioned that we are going totake out and eat in our car ( we live quite far) the owner was kind enough to allow us to eat in though they were not open forit. Do visit and try their Mangalore dishes and desserts. All the best ! Read more

Ordered Chicken Korma and it tasted sweet perhaps made in a store bought tomato sauce. Terrible! Also their Chapatis tasted as... if they were made a few hours ago. Their packaging is poor and it seems suspicious that the Chicken Korma container was onlyhalf full. They need to do a much better job packaging given they hand it to third party delivery drivers. 2 star because theyare attempting to provide authentic food but failing for now. Read more

Wonderful experience and a memorable birthday! Best place for pork sorpotel, pork bafat, sanna, vorn and baath cake. Ofcourse... the papplets are delicious and huge! Good drinks too! Loved the family-like feeling with Desmond Sir and his wife (awesomechef) and Braydon. Strongly recommend if you miss Goan and Manglorean food from back home! Read more

This is a family run business. We wanted to try some fish curry and we were delighted to have come across this place. I used to... live in the neighborhood but never noticed this place. Thanks to Google we found it. The lady was over worked taking care ofboth the kitchen and front, but still found time to have a brief chat. That is what the customer values. The food was delicioustoo. Maybe you can consider changing the branding outside so people don't have to rely on just Google to find you :) All thebest. Keep up the good work! Read more

The food at mango mirchi has a amazing touch of home cooked food, every item on the menu is tasty and delicious, authentic Goan... and Manglorean Cusine, It is difficult to single out any single dish to say that is the best, because each has its own specialflavour and taste. For the past 1 1/2 year they are doing take out and the service they provide is impeccable, don?t miss theirChristmas Delicacy, they will be putting them out shortly. Their Kunswar is mind blowing. Desmond and Irine also provide apersonal touch with their customers , they are courteous and welcoming, great service. Don?t miss out on their Vindloo andSorpotel. Read more
