The second you walk in, you are embraced by the essence of lamb but you adjust quickly. There are booths, tables and floor... seating available which I thought was a unique feature which caters well for this particular type of culinary experience. Theyoffer complementary coffee which was extremely watered down but nice gesture regardless. Onto the food, I got a mixed platewhich was accompanied with a lentil soup. The soup itself was tasty but watered down. The rice was absolutely delicious, eachbite was full of flavour. The chicken was cooked to perfection and was falling of the bone. The lamb itself was cooked well andvery easy to eat. The food itself is very basic, Rice and Chicken but since it's very enriched with flavour it works. It has a nice atmosphere inside. It reminds me of my days in the middle east. I ordered mix madhbi and it was good sized. The... taste too was excellent and the meat was very tender and tasty. Pricing is just about right, not too cheap but not tooexpensive considering the portions. Having lived in middle east and experience Middle Eastern cuisine, I rate this place quitehigh. Read more
Good ambiance, food is good quantity, quality wise its ok. I find it bit expensive as compared to the food quality. Staff is... friendly, however i think it would have been best if one of the staff is there for customers coming in the restaurant as when wewent there every one was busy. Rest it was good. Read more
Only twice in my life I have actually left food without eating. This was one such instant. I went there after many good reviews... from word of mouths. It could have been one such instant in my case. I ordered the $55 family platter and ordered two differentkinds of chicken. Was one of the last orders at night. The food smelled bad despite the good presentation. Staff was nice. Read more
What is "Mandi" exactly? Its a popular middle Eastern dish that originates from Yemen. Meat that is slow cooked in a pit is... layered over a bed of amazingly seasoned rice and served with a side of yogurt. There are different types of meat that you canchoose from. The available choices were beef, lamb, goat, chicken and fish. All of them come seasoned and slow cooked toperfection. The food is not spicy and is a great change for people looking for new middle eastern food but are sick of shawarmaand kebabs. The prices are pretty good and the portions are massive, I ordered the chicken Mandi which is my favorite and leftpretty satisfied. Great atmosphere not to mention the amazing food! Lamb soup is very good with so much lamb inside, lamb with rice perfectly... cooked, tender, and absolutely nothing to add! It is fall off the bone!
