The stars are really for the great chef and good teppanyaki food. Lost stars due to time to serve, staff a little slow, lack of... ambiance, dated decor, and the tiniest portion of mall style sushi. I mean tiny (but tasted good). Would not recommend orreturn. Better teppanyaki for this price exists if you look. Read more

The food is very tasty and well prepared. The only thing I didn't agree with was that I asked the chef to take a picture with me... and his answer was "NO". It didn't seem friendly to me. Read more

I felt like I was away at a resort for the time I was there celebrating my son's b'day. Chefs we're entertaining and their Sushi... was delicious. Food was flavourful and filling. I will be back. Read more

We had to book a reservation for teppanyaki a week in advance but it was worth the wait! The food was delicious, affordably... priced and the service was fantastic. Our chef was engaging and kept our party of 6 entertained. Do not let the exterior of thebuilding scare you away. It does not look very inviting but the inside was very comfortable and more importantly very clean. Iwould highly recommend this place and look forward to going back! Read more

Probably one of the worst dinner experiences of my adulthood. Booked a reservation for 8:30pm. Upon arrival they were unable to... seat as because the table was not ?ready?. However once we were finally seated at around 8:40pm, there was old food all over theground and table. The hostess said ?she didn?t know the ground was a mess,? and attempted to sweep up the mess. But we probablyshould of just left after that because it went downhill, FAST from there. When we asked to switch seats she told us that ?theview was better where we were seated.? The place as filthy like absolutely disgusting and I couldn?t believe the lack of care.Old food stuck to my boyfriends plate, lip stick all over my glass, dirt on the utensils. Everything about the place was unkept, cringeworthy, and borer line a health hazard. Our server however was incredibly sweet, but the service was slower than molassesand our food was slightly overcooked. Also our chef bless his heart, kept leaving to grab missing items and ingredients. Don?tsee us returning here ever. Sad, because we used to frequent this spot pre-pandemic but never again. Read more

Hey family, Here?s an honest review of my visit to Iron Chef located in Mississauga. We visited on December 3rd for dinner with... some friends. Below is our experience and I wanted to share it with you. Location/Amenities: .5/1 star Iron Chef is located atEglinton and Tomken road. It?s not as visible from the main road but you should find it at the back with plenty of free parkingavailable. The parking lot can be a little dim and feels a bit sketchy but we were able to find the restaurant. Staff: .5/1star We entered the establishment and unfortunately weren?t greeted until 10 minutes while waiting at the door. Once we weregreeted they asked us if we wanted take-out, traditional dine-in or the teppanyaki experience. We chose the teppanyakiexperience and shared it with another family. By the time we sat down it was another 20 minutes before we chose our toppings andthey brought out the food. Service: 1/1 star Once the chef came out and greeted us, service resumed like normal and we werereally happy with the service they provided. They brought our appetizers, drinks and cleaned up our dishes fairly quick so wecould enjoy the main dinner. Food: 1/1 star The food was cooked right in front of us and was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed avariety of different meats, seafood, vegetables and rice. It was cooked to perfection and have nothing bad to say. Wow factor: 1/1 star Teppanyaki can be a very fun experience whether it?s a date, with family or a group of friends. The chefs are talentedin their craft and will definitely entertain any audience. This is huge in the dining industry and creates a fun, uniqueexperience. I recommend everyone try this at least once. All in all we genuinely had a great time and I would stronglyrecommend this restaurant for anyone in the area. Overall based on our experience I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Until nexttime?.. Read more

This place has past its prime. The last time I had went was 2011. Same decor, same paint colors. Half the ligh bulbs around the... cooking area didn't work. Our chef wasnt energetic and didn't do many tricks. He was funny and the food was tasty. Thus thethree stars but for the price there are alot better hibachi options out there. It was a pleasure to take my kids out for dinnerto a hibachi style resturant for the first time but due to the lack of tricks, the chef was unable to keep their attention. Thestaff is amazingly friendly, just expected more from a dinner "show" as other chefs were engaging with thier audience, tossingfood, performing alot of tricks, spelling things on the grill. Unsure if I would return. Read more

After 2 years of not dining at this restaurant due to the pandemic, we returned and ordered beef teriyaki bento boxes. We are... ecstatic to dine in again at this marvelous restaurant. Consistently delicious meal and at a great value. Service by Bonnieand Jay were exceptional. New staff and management, with satisfying dishes is a winning combination. Glad to be back! Read more
