Called to reserve for all you can eat. The person on the other end said all you can eat starts at 5:30pm, so we reserved for... exactly that time thinking we will get fresh and warm seafood and etc before the dinner rush. As soon as we came in the hostessconfused us for a reservation at 7:30pm, ok no problem we figured that out. Seated and they brought us a tall chair for thechild. that was nice..Then we went to get our food, every main dish was freezing cold and this was supposed to be the start ofthe all you can eat dinner menu? Seafood was cold and looked like it was microwaved before they brought it out, the beef andchicken dishes were all burnt, not charred? bread was extremely dry, even when you tried to dip it any meat juice/sauce (thatwas below room temperature to begin with). Vegetable sides were under cooked, Parisian potatoes tasted like they were justdefrosted and someone tossed them in olive oil to give them Color, crunchy like a a raw carrot. Only thing that was good aboutthis ?hole? was the live singer/performer who for some reason kept covering Italian music(maybe sending a message to the ownerthat this is an embarrassment for Portugal). And the the couple who were few tables away and had a baby same age as ourdaughter, those two had a great evening dancing to Italian music at a Portuguese restaurant. This is one of my favorite Portuguese sit down restaurants. I always enjoy it here. The seafood buffet spread is fantastic. ... All of my favorites were present. Lobster, shrimps, crab, mussels, clams, seafood rice, roast pork, salmon, etc. I recommendthis place any day of the week. The only reason I didn't give this visit 5 stars was the price. It went up to $65 per personfor their buffet. That is a little over priced in my books. Other than that I had a great experience here. Check it out. Youwon't be disappointed. ???? Read more
Had the privilege of eating here yesterday with my family and it was absolutely incredible! From the great food to the awesome... service this place is a must try if your in the mood for some Portuguese food. It was my first time going so I decided to gowith the rodisio and boy it didn't disappoint one bit from awesome cut meats to perfectly grilled seafood the selectiaon wasoverwhelming. If your starving then this is the way to go 100% but I should mention their menu has some great choices if yournot up for the all you can eat. One thing forsure you won't leave here disappointed!! Okay...a bit disappointed. I wasn't expecting mandarin style buffet (low quality)....but come on. first off We waited at the... front door for 5mins without anyone coming to greet us. Even making a reservation was a task! Any question we asked about thefood, the girl had to ask someone every single time...a bit silly. You should know what the restaurant has, doesn't matter if itis a reopening. There was live music. A very nice touch and I applaud his talents, but jeez! Soo loud. If the restaurant waspacked and loud, i would understand the volume....but I couldn't even talk to the people at my table without raising my voice,and im Persian, we are used to listening to live music at Persian restaurants. The server cringed when we asked to maybe sitfurther from the singer....not a face i want to see when I am paying for service and food. One of the guests at our tableordered al a carte....the saltiest mashed potatoes and gravy i have ever tasted. The servers are quick to charge us 7.50 for abottle of water (which by the way....never told us. And there was no menu to inform us), but the servers are no where when wewanted wine or to ask them questions.
