Average food, average service. Not much to rave about. The best thing on the menu is the watermelon and feta salad. They give... you a small spoon of tzatziki sauce with your meal and one kalamata olive with the side of greek salad. Probably my first andlast time coming here. Read more

The atmosphere here is incredible. Love the traditional music playing in the background. The food was authentic and delicious.... The halloumi was probably the best I?ve ever had. Hands down the best Greek food in all of gta . The prices are reasonable with their large portions, vino is really good and wide... selection . Family oriented and every time I go their I feel like I am in Greece even though I have never been to Greece . Thefood is always consistent and chicken is amazing know idea how they make it but it just melts in your mouth when you eat it notsure how to describe it in an more professional manner. the presentation and the decor is really calming . Visited today. It was my first Greek restaurant ever. Tried the chicken souvlaki and it was simply okay at best. Nothing to die... for. The meat was somewhat hard and dry, and the rice was tasteless. But most importantly, the service was awful. We were shownour seats and no waiter came to ask our order despite us waiting there for thirty minutes. Had to flag one down. Another halfhour goes by, the patrons who came after us get served, and we have to flag a waiter to ask about our order. After our meal, weask for our bill. It takes them yet another forever to bring it despite one waiter standing by another table, chatting idly withthem. AND GUESS WHAT, they forgot to bring the machine for us to pay. Incredible food, even better service!! Highly recommend this restaurant for its authentic Greek food. My bridal shower was... hosted here July 10th and it was fantastic. Everyone loved the food and atmosphere. The staff truly made the day special. Theymade us feel right at home, were super accommodating with all allergies and celiac meals. Fantastic service. If you are in Mississauga and craving Greek food you gotta hit up Colossus. It's amazing. We've been coming here for well over a... decade however didn't realize they moved next door and they occupy even more space now...plus a significantly better patio too!Interior is very nice and spacious. The entrance was a bit confusing as we thought it was the takeout/Uber/SkiptheDishesentrance because all we saw was the kitchen. Turns out that is their entrance which was kinda cool walk through and see thecooks doing their thing. Today we had the classic Chicken Souvlaki Pita and Veggie Pita with salad and fries. 4.5/5 - Service is excellent in a friendly way. A bit laidback like true Greek style. This is not fine dining, but still an... upscale experience. They have been around 20+ years doing this and I've been going randomly since 2000 or so. Recommendreservations but I walked in at Tuesday dinner. They have a cute patio on the street side of Lakeshore, but it?s fenced in.Dining inside is just as good. Had a great vibe and was busy. Ordered 5 mezes (appetizers): 1) Greek Salad - 2-3 ppl can shareclassic and tasty - no onions almost if that helps 2) Saganaki - flaming fried cheese - classic dish if you never tried before.Squish extra lemon on your slice before eating each piece 3) Shrimp -Feta Tomato - nice dish. If you love Shrimp, get it. Ifnot, pass. 4) Octopus- well grilled, meaty and served with some cherry tomatoes and olives. Add lemon. If you like octopus, amust get. 5) Feta Fries - 90% sure they hand cut their own fries. That alone makes them crunchy and delicious. We went in at about 1 pm Saturday. Small patio so limited seating. Excellent service right from the time you walk in. We tried... different main courses and all of them were fabulous. The staff is excellent and do not exert any pressure on you to finishearly cos there are fewer tables. They let you be to have a leisurely meal.
