It's a Friendly atmosphere, lighting is good and very clean. Service was awful. Waited 10 minutes for our drinks and had to ask... numerous times for cuttlery/ketchup for someone to actually get it to our table. Out of the other Chuck's restaurants this one is particularly slower on getting dishes out of the Kitchen. I've been to the... Heartland Location, and Ajax location and everything is usually quick. Expect to be waiting a while for your orders. Why the2/5 stars is because my friend and I had ordered exactly the same cut of steak (ribeye) one medium rare and the other rare. Hissteak was definitely not a ribeye, and was overcooked. (My steak was perfect). Consistency is very important. Read more

Neighbourhood casual dining chain for inexpensive drinks and bar food. Service is excellent and they have daily specials... offering great value, but execution is lacking heavily. We went on Wednesday when they have a wing and rib special for $15 andwhile I wasn't expecting much at that price point, the food was terribly overcooked/stale. Bone in beef jerky is the only way Ican describe the ribs and somehow the wings (while seasoned nicely) were even more tough and dry. Fries were cold and old butoverall the portion was reasonable. Nachos were adequate and the only positive food experience we had here. I definitelywouldn't come back for the food but cheap drinks and the service make this Chucks location a safe bet to drop in for a drink! Read more

Good food as always and appropriate portions.. the problem was the service, it took a good 25 mins for a server to take our... order after being seated.. their manager (very disorganized) checked on us if we've been help 10 mins after we got seated andanother 15 mins till our server arrived.. they need more servers.. and a server who was taking a break was smoking pot inforntof the entrance, they had a patio table there.. perfect for smoking.. but not a good smell to walk in on... Had such a nice experience with Stephanie. She was working the bar on the evening of Jan 31st and when I sat down she promptly... introduced herself and took care of my order. She was so friendly and attentive which really stands out. She refilled my drinkwithout even asking which was a very nice surprise and gesture. It’s these types of experiences that has really made me enjoygoing to Chuck’s and I always drag my friend and family there for the game or just to hang out. It seems she genuinely enjoyswhat she does and it’s great to have that reflect in her customer service. One of the best places for quality steak at reasonable price. We had the porterhouse and New York strip and both were made... exactly to our preference. The meat was nicely charred and absolutely delicious. Service was fast and friendly. And unlike otherplaces they don’t charge you an arm and a leg for a steak!
