Tried Baklava king for the first time today and got the $9 plate for 5 assorted kinds and asked them to give me whatever they... recommend. Oh my goodness, it was so so good. Everything was very flakey, buttery, nutty and perfectly sweet. I had the fullintention of snacking on these throughout the week and the box is almost all gone. Will definitely be back to get a biggerassorted platter next time and try some of their baked goods at the counter. Highly recommend! Read more
Expensive but tasty Baklawa. Comparable with hunderds of other baklawa shops in the GTA. We did not like the taste of Maamool.... Biscuits and pastries are good though. Very busy near festivals otherwise a good option to get sweets on the fly for "those"guest vists. Read more

Best Baklawa in all of Canada! Period. We've had their baklawa quite a few times, mostly as gifts from friends, and in all... honesty even a 2kg tray of assorted baklawa from here lasts only 3-4 days in our house because that's how delicious theirbaklawa is. I mean I challenge anyone who loves baklawa to try and stop after having 1 piece of Baklawa King! This time aroundwe tried their Kunafeh for the 1st time, and loved it too. Great place for sweets & coffee sittings. Big variety, I think most desserts are good. The lady who served me gave attitude (Idk... why, probably wasn?t one of her best days). A go to place when you want to eat middle eastern sweets. Have been their customer for years, and the quality never disappoints... you. Well maintained and very clean. Quick to serve customers. Very delicious variety of sweets. Lots of seating area insidethe store, as well as a decent patio outside. May not be the best view, but it's good when you feel to sit outside. You canorder ahead of time and pick your order without further delays. You will need to try it yourself. Read more
