While in line several customers were amazed at the breakfast presentation of eggs, bacon, sausage, toast - optional pancakes and... hash browns on 1 plate. It?s a delicious serving and no other breakfast in terminal 1 offers such a quick plate with sit-downservice. The coffee is bold and hot, too. The only place open late in D terminal. Prices are standard A&W prices not inflated because it's in the airport. My only... complaint is the food wasn't hot but it's 1am and they are open still. Read more
A good place for tasty food. Visited from the United States and couldn't wait for the A&W combo and root beer made with real... cane sugar. Poutine was not like the picture but filled the void. Can't pass an A&W without nostolgic childhood memories Fullcoffee options - espresso, etc.. Read more
What a disappointing experience. I couldn?t find the silver lining here. I waited almost 40 mins in line before ordering around... 5:30am. Several people gave up and left the line. No idea why ?fast food? takes that long. The place was dirty even at that timein the morning, garbage cans overflowing out onto counter, no surfaces wiped down, looked like no one cleaned up at close thenight before. When it was my turn I wanted to order the breakfast platter but I don?t eat meat and didn?t want toast. I asked ifI could substitute the bacon, sausages and toast ($3.49 value) for a pancake ($1.79 value). I was refused. That meant I had toorder my pancake, hashbrown, 2 eggs over easy, and tomato slices individually as side orders. I also ordered a coffee and orangejuice. My bill came to $16.77 which was far higher than my calculations, but the bill issued to me wasn?t itemized for me to beable to confirm. When my order was ready it came packaged separately in 3 different giant plastic domed platters- pancake inone, eggs and tomato in another, and a hash brown and cutlery in the third. I tried to find a clean surface to transfereverything to one plate. The eggs were way over cooked, as was the almost-burnt hashbrown, the pancake was cold, the orangejuice was super watered down and the coffee tasted like the smell of an ashtray. absolutely the worst customer service and food i?ve ever gotten? look at the onion rings :( i never go back and ask for another... order but i did and they gave me the exact same onion rings? just warmed up. not to mention how they were thrown not handed tome. Read more
