Very expensive. 4oz wagyu steak was $40/per oz. It was my first time trying wagyu and it definitely did taste great but I was... expecting more marbling on the steak. The mushroom risotto was really good. My friends had the US Prime steak and they enjoyedit as well. The desserts weren?t overly impressive. Nothing special. Overall the food was great. The girl at the bar was very friendly and was very quick with the drinks. Great service, they were able to accommodate 7 of us... without any reservations. However, the drinks are quite pricey. Read more
*Never disappoints* This is my second time returning to this restaurant and I'd highly recommend. Incredible customer service,... delicious food and, great ambience. It can be pricey depending on what you order but, it's nothing out of the realm of what'sexpected for a restaurant of this caliber. We went there for friends birthday. From the beginning we were treated like royalty. The server was knowledgeable, attentive and... friendly. He came many times to check on us. We ordered scallops and oysters for starters. Both were delicious and done toperfection. Maybe I would hold off on salt. The main courses - rack of lamb, Arctic char and risotto were absolutely deliciousand served beautifully. I ordered souvinion blanc with my fish, but it was not the best. The dessert and coffee were perfect. Wespend few hours at the restaurant, we felt looked after, amazing service and attentiveness. Exceptional restaurant. I experienced 17 Steakhouse for the first time last winter during a business dinner. I returned this... time my family to celebrate my son's 21st birthday. My son and I both had Alberta sirloin. Served blue and rare they werecooked to perfection. Asparagus, broccoli, fried calamari and Rissoto were added to the meal. I would return just to eatrisotto and nothing else. It is some beyond flavour. It's literally an experience to eat. Our service was second to none. This review is from February 11th. Had reservations booked for a party of 8 and when we got there we were given a private room... which was very nice!. The only negative I have with this place is that on that date there was water dripping from the ceilingand it was dropping close to where one of our guys were sitting. Obviously out of control from the restaurant, but shoulddefinitely take better measures to fix them If you are going to book out the room. The management gave us some complimentaryshots on the house so that was nice of them. Food wise everything was amazing. I had the US prime ribeye which was cooked toperfection and tasted amazing. The sides are very big and you can definitely share them with a bunch of people. Since we werecelebrating a few birthdays we had some desserts and the creme brule was amazing! This was not the 1st time we dine here. Last night we brought in a large group of 20 friends. The manager Jim was very helpful... and out server Mo was excellent. Great wine and most importantly the steak and rest of the food were amazing. It is a greatplace to accomodate large groups. Nice and not too loud and you can have a conversation.
