A really awesome New York style pizza made by a family with NY roots. The crust is thin, light, and crunchy with just the right... amount of chew and saltiness. The ingredients/toppings taste of a higher quality than most pizza places. You can especially tellwith the sausage, ricotta, and mozzarella that they use. My mother is Italian so I've been eating Italian/Italian American foodmy whole life. You better believe that I'm a very harsh critic when it comes to Italian/Italian American food and I would saythis place is really good. Really goes above and beyond when it comes to NY style pizza. Try it and you won't regret it. Irecommend the Greek pizza, pepperoni & sausage pizza, and any of the "Grandma Style" (Nonna Style) pizzas. Probably the best slice in OC. Their Grandma Pie is phenomenal, I always get it well done so they cheese forms a nice crust and... finish it with Hot Honey and parmesan. Very friendly service and good prices for the quality of food you get. Read more

The grandma pizza has been a great addition to the local pizza scene. Sal's thin crust is fantastic, don't get me wrong. You... should definitely try Sal's just for the thin crust but the Grandma's is really nice. I highly suggest ordering one asrecommended on the menu for the experience. We have recently ordered it with pepperoni and found it excellent. Both ways areworth the price. Read more
