Been here a couple times before we had kids but this was our first time with our kids, and another family who had kids as well.... Service was good. Great server. Didn't keep us waiting. Atmosphere was tough. Very loud. Hard to hear our own party of 8 fromone end to the other. Granted, there was a party of 30 (thousand) behind us, I'm guessing ND students, but still it was tough tohear. Mango margaritas was a nice way to end the week...until I found out it was $10. We get a shrimp cocktail every Mexican spot we try. This was decent. Little disappointed on the serving size. It was just ok.
We got the pineapple passion (not sure of the name) and steak fajitas, & horchata. The shrimp was rubbery but the rest was... pretty good. Horchata was very disappointing. Service was poor. We did get our food faster than expected but I am not sure ifthat was a good thing since it had a 'reheated' taste. To me it isn't even worth a second try. $40.00 for 2 people for less thansub-par. I ordered a Paradise Quesadilla with a mango/pineapple margarita. I haven?t been here in quite sometime. I really enjoyed how... meaty the quesadilla was and the portion is HUGE. This quesadilla could feed two people. I enjoyed the taste as well. We had anexcellent server that had lots of energy! Quick with everything! The margarita was potent ???????? Great job Salsas!! Why we haven?t been in this classy Mexican food place before ! We had Mojo Shrimp, Sea food Chimichanga & Mixed Fajitas & Mojo... Shrimp was incredible. I?m gonna coming back for this & of course for their white salsa they served as appetizer with nachos .They served quick & as it?s a family & friends place you will love the atmosphere as well .
