I don?t like leaving bad reviews. The place had an amazing atmosphere and wonderful staff. The food, however, was horrible. My... first dish was nothing but a pile of cheese and disintegrating pasta and was SOUR! The manager went so far as to say nothingcould be sour and it was my palate that was the issue! Great, attentive service. Highly recommend mixing the two house dressings for the salad. They know what they?re doing. Food was... the definition of your mom?s best home cooking. The atmosphere immediately made me want Christmas. It was cozy, warm, andwelcoming. The music was on point, creating a romantic date-night-at-home feel. Very reasonably priced. My wife & I have eaten at Fanellos 5 or 6 times and the food had always been great. The wait staff are some of the nicest people... you'll ever meet. Prices are reasonable for their food and their lemon cheesecake (when they offer it) is THE BEST cheesecakeyou'll ever eat. You won't leave hungry either. Read more

A friend of mine had a gift certificate from Fanellos, and we decided to try it out. I can ?tell? that this is an AUTHENTIC... Italian restaurant. From the atmosphere to how the food is prepared...wonderful. The appetizers were enough to be their ownmeal. My main meal (stuffed shells with chicken added) was like two dinners in one. Great staff, who did quite well handlingthings professionally as restaurants slowly open during ebbing phases of the pandemic. The location is neat, in an older part ofdowntown Mishawaka that I wasn?t aware of. Really nice place. I highly recommend!! Read more
