Started out slow. We got sat and ignored for the 1st 15 minutes. No drinks or anything. Service turned around and once we got a... server he did excellent there on our. Wife and I ordered a calzone it was very big. It may have been the ingredients we selectedbut I don't know how a calzone can taste so bland. The thing I tasted mostly was the ricotta. We both barely ate any of it anddid not take it with us. I'm sure there is a good experience to be had here, but ours was not one. Regret eating here but don'tmean you will. Read more
The walls are covered with hospitality awards from the past 6 years and I have no idea how they got them. A colleague of mine,... who will now be fired, recommended this place. The service was pretty bad. Kaylie was great...she appeared to be cooking thepizzas, seating the guests, and running food. Christian was our waiter and needed...motivation. Nice guy, but probably bettersuited for a job in a library. After taking our drink order (Pepsi and sweet tea) he proceeded to clear tables, take ordersfrom other guests, ring up checks, and 12 mins later brought us a Pepsi. I had to request my tea a second time. We placed anorder for an appetizer salad, but that didn't come out until after dinner. The pizza took a while to come out as well. Therestaurant was probably half full. Finally, after wasting an hour of my life, I had to ask the manager to bring us the check. Excellent place to grab some pizza.But it can get busy so be prepared to wait.the food is excellent and the staff is friendly... and helpful. We ordered a margarita pizza and a pepperoni pizza.both tasted great.excellent sauce and super crust.we alsoordered antipasto and tiramisu(spelling).again both were tasty.plenty of parking and seating inside with a little bar seatingoutside.if you are in Sandestin you should give it a try. We went to Grimaldi's based on referral from a former employee. I wasn't greeted right away. Megan did greet and seat us. She... was very friendly. The decor was unique. Food was good.
