Reviews for Sammy's Pizza & Restaurant in Minot, ND
Took me a long time to get around to trying out Sammy's, and I wish it hadn't. I kind of ended up going in between meal times so... it was not busy at all. I tried some pasta and garlic bread. The pasta was good and the garlic bread was amazing. I totallyexpected it to be harder and crunchy, but it was soft and flavored perfectly. The only critique I have was the chicken I orderedwith the pasta really didn't have any flavor and/or it just didn't pair well with the pasta. I can't wait to come back and trytheir meatball and/Italian sausage instead. I also hear great things about the pizza and will want to give that a try as well!Overall a good experience and I plan on coming back to try more of their menu options. Read more

Sammy?s is a minot institution. It?s family owned and operated. One of the best places to eat in the city. Pizza, pasta,... chicken, soup, it?s all good. I?ve been going with my family since I was a child. I would not change a thing about thisrestaurant. It?s perfect. Read more
If you love pizza, you'll love Sammy's!!! I ordered their special and then had them make a weird one-off pizza. It's always... piping hot, fresh to order, and constructed of the best quality ingredients. Don't be a square and try their square slices. You'll never be disappointed with Sammy's. Their my go-to, make them your's too. 10/5 Stars!!! Read more
Sammy's beef, mushroom and onion pizza is hands down the best pizza made! Don't dismiss this incredible combination of flavor... simply because you never order pizza with these toppings. Trust me!! One taste and you too will drive an hour and a half insnow to get your fix!! Read more

Ordered thick crust and it came out looking like a piece of lined paper. The topping fell off every piece I attempted to take... out of the box. You could taste how salty it was and the garlic cheese bread had a quarter sized sharp piece of plastic cookedinto the cheese. First and only experience at this place. Read more
If you don't care what I have to say, then don't go through the motion of asking how the food is as you walk by my table.... Awesome soup, the best kneophla! Great ambiance. Tired buffet that no one seems to check, even after I mentioned it was low. 10laces of dried out linguini in a bin is not ok. Awesome garlic bread, but only a few heels left in the bin. Dry chicken seemedto have been sitting there for hours, tough to chew. Canned chocolate pudding? C'mon, do better. A box of brownie mix is a buck, throw it in a skillet. Inedible cracker/crust under the dessert pizza. I'm not a fan of their pizza, but I'm a NY'er, Sammy'sisn't my style pizza. Another site advertised kids eat free Tuesday at Sammy's. I was told they don't do those specials anymore. No concern for which site is misadvertising them or desire to accommodate me. $23 for 1 adult and 1 kid buffet, withwater. Sorry to say, Pizza Ranch is $15 for me on Kids Eat Free Tuesday. And the buffet is kept stocked. I would choose thelocal guy over the chain, but the local guy's staff doesn't seem to care about ME.
