JL Beers provides a continually updated bar-burger experience, with new beers in stock and evolving food. I recently tried the... beer cheese sauce with the pretzel for the first time. It was life-changing. The sauce is doesn't taste of a cheap can, andinstead evokes childhood memories of cheese fondue. If you don't finish it, take it home and find something -- anything -- todip! My friends and I don't have well-educated beer palates, and we like trying flights to find something new. I wish thatdiscoveries of an ale I fancy could stay on tap six months later when I return, and I wish I took better notes. We came here for dinner during the weekday, and it was crowded. We had a hard time even finding a place to sit. The burger was... pretty good. If you are getting a beer, burger, side, and a dip, it would end up costing you $30 for a person. This place ispretty expensive compared to nearby places. WOW! Not only is it difficult to find a unique burger place, but it's even harder to find a place that does a vegetarian burger... well. This place nailed both! The bun was soft and the burger was cooked to perfection. Even more amazing is the way the burgerwas constructed. The cheese was used as a binder to keep all the fixings right in the middle so no messy hands. Definitely worththe visit and we will definitely be back. Waitress was extremely helpful, let me taste test a couple beer that I wasn't sure about so I knew I was getting what I wanted.... I got the Cajun burger and it wasn't spicy but had a delicious cajun flavor, I also got the sea salt fries and they are soft,perfectly cooked and don't even need a sauce in my opinion. The ranch was good but if you don't like sour cream I recommend notgetting it, very sour cream heavy (but I think it was still delicious). My boyfriend got the beer cheese burger and coleslaw.The beer cheese was so good we asked for a side of it to take home. And being from the south I am always a little picky with mycoleslaw, theirs is fresh, crispy and delicious. Not watered down and has perfect flavor and crunch. The staff were diligent inthe kitchen, we literally watched then make our burgers and fries and they keep the place organized and spotless. You candefinitely tell they care about their work and take pride in what they serve. I've been told it's the best burger in Minot andthey definitely lived up to the hype. I've had subpar burgers in a few places around town, so this will definitely be my go tofrom now on. They're pretty busy sometimes and it's clear to see why, highly recommended!! Read more
