The people who do the bagging at the register need training. We do not throw groceries in the bags. We place them in. Heavy... items to the bottom and not the other way. We say hello and thank you to customers. We do not talk out loud about our personallife to the other person who is also bagging at the next door register. It is the third time now. Have loved going to Lakewinds for years but hadn?t been in a few since moving out of Minnetonka. We showed up late to pick up a... CSA and the extremely kind and helpful manager went out of his way to grab it from the cooler. The food/goods are phenomenal butthe staff are even higher quality. Read more

It?s worth becoming a member for the discounts. Always clean, sometimes lower stocked. Deli has great options.

First time I have shopped there. I will be back because the store had so many great fresh looking items in the produce... department. Lakewinds (IMO) is a top-notch grocer of natural and organic, and carries a wide selection of practically everything imaginable.... There are a few items I prefer that they don't carry but that is to be expected (Elmhurst nut milks, which are the best!). Whathas been a little disappointing my last few visits is the hot bar. I think the menu was more diverse before the pandemic, but mylast two meal choices were pretty rough. As to the most recent, I stopped in today after an intense workout and chose the beefstew- possibly the worst Lakewinds hot bar item I've ever consumed. Overly watered down and flavorless. The potatoes, carrotsand meat lost their consistency, turning a hardy meal into something of a flavor-lacking milkshake. I seems this dish was reusedpast its freshness date. I took a few bites and quit, realizing I'd have to pick up another meal on the go and cut my $11 loss.The store itself rocks, and because of the great customer service, I'll be back to give things another try. There are two people one bags and one checks out always together they are girls. They body shame customer and bullies them for... what they buy and how often you go to the store. I have a larger body and I got to the store a lot to get fresh produce. I buy alot of it. I also make food for a lot of people but they assume it?s all for me. And every time they go they give dirty looksand shameful comments. I would not shop there again. I told this to the manager the manager could care less since right after Ileft I had to go back in for my card and all three of them where mocking me. How dare a company that calls them all peoplefriendly do this to people I wish I knew the owner. They clearly don?t care about people and they don?t care how their peopledress.
