So amazing! I had the gyoza and the Hawaiian noodle as well as the chick boss. 7/1/22 update: Still awesome. I think this is my favorite takeout place. It's not fine dining but what they do they do really... well. If you haven't been here, I really encourage you to try it. The prices may be a little on the higher side (always do theupcharge for fried rice) however the portions are massive and they do not skimp on the protein. 1 Lil chick or sweet moo mealmakes me full and I'm the type of person to want more food after a Caniac combo or a full rack of ribs. You'll be infinitelymore satisfied with something from here vs a generic Asian restaurant. Original: This place was excellent. Initially we wereapprehensive and couldn't actually tell if they were open or not, as it was dark in the front. We got there shortly after theyopened for the day, and I'm glad we went in anyways. Everything was made fresh and piping hot when we got it. Pictured beloware the "Sweet Moo" and "Hawaiian Noodles" menu options. I don't think it was mentioned on the menu, but you can $2 upcharge toget fried rice instead of white rice, which we did. The portion sizes were very generous, the pictures below are deceiving -there's a ton of noodles or rice below the meat in both dishes, and just a small amount of lettuce on the very top. Thehomemade yum yum sauce is really good and a lot better than whatever Sysco stuff other restaurants buy. The two of us leftsatisfied and full, with a small amount of leftovers. Really delicious food, a tiny bit on the expensive side but with gigantic portions. I loved the Brussels sprouts and the prawn... dish. I can?t remember the last time I had such savory and compelling fried rice. Extremely good quality. Menu has a nicevariety of dishes. Seems to do mostly take away, since the dining area is fairly small (though nice and comfortable). I?dencourage the owners to add a light or something near the windows. It is really hard to tell when this place is open. I had topress my face to the glass to see the staff. Kind of a minor point but the menu is written in a cutesy style that makes itdifficult to figure out what the dishes actually are made of. Read more
Phenomenal food. Phenomenon people. Phenomenal vibe. We got all vegan food and we were in heaven. This is a must for any vegan... in or traveling through the twin cities area. I?m usually not a tempeh fan but their tempeh is out of this world. Tastes like agourmet beef General Tso or something. The namaste was like a gourmet vegan fried chicken religious experience. Great food! They gave a generous amount of food for each meal. We ordered the Chicken Boss, Lil Chick, Salmon Bear, Sweet Moo,... Gyoza, and the Shumai and all of these were really good. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The staff and owners were all nice andattentive. Love the Yum Yum sauce. Would come back here again. Read more
I've been wanting to try Young Man ever since they opened and they did not disappoint! I really appreciate how a large portion... of the menu can be made vegan or gluten free. Lots of items are naturally dairy free too which is great for someone with lactoseintolerance. Everything was delicious with wonderful texture and flavor. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu but100% ordering more fried rice. And gyoza because those were good too. Edit: ate more of the menu and everything we ate was sogood. The Hawaiian noodles are delicious! Definitely upgrade the rice to fried rice or noodles. To top it off their customerservice was the best I've experienced with takeout. I really like this place.
