This place is like no other. No bells and whistles, just a small place that makes the best variety of hot dogs, breakfasts and... burgers. Their hand-cut fries are better (and cheaper) than the ones you can find at the state fair. The guy working was superfriendly, down to earth and chatted with us while we ate. It's an experience! This is a little hole in the wall restaurant. To be honest, I was a little worried. This place was recommended by watching... triple D. When we were visiting the area for a seminary in fall 2018, we decided to stop by. And boy we were glad we did! Greatfood and customer service. Came to Minneapolis for the weekend to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We read about the Weinery, knew we had to stop.... The guy working the counter/cooking was lovely (when I ordered cheese on my hot dog he enthusiastically said "F-yeah", made mesmile - love him, super genuine dude). I had a hot dog, husband had a burger, we shared a basket of fries. Best meal we've hadin the city. 5 stars. Will return (may even stop again before we head out of town). Read more
