I was delightfully surprised with my turkey pesto sandwich. The deli "meat" is actually from The Herbivorous Butcher (if you... haven't been there, definitely check it out), and when my sandwich was ready, I was delightfully surprised to see a perfectlycrisp and warm panini in front of me. It was delicious and filling, and as an added bonus, the staff were incredibly friendly. I was too full to add on anything else to my order, but they had a really nice selection of vegan cupcakes, cinnamon rolls,cookies, and even PopTart-style pastries that looked amazing. It's fine. Nice atmosphere, good location. I was really excited to try Vegan East. When I asked what they recommend and what... they liked at the register I didn't get much of an answer so I got a sandwich for lunch and 3 desserts to bring home and trylater. The turkey sandwich was really hot and dry and didn't have much flavor. The cookie dough cupcake was fine, not good butfine. The texture and flavor was really just like a really sugary frosting not really the cookie dough flavor I was expecting. The ice cream sandwich was fine. I didn't like the ice cream filling but that's just preference, cookies outside were goodthough. The carrot cake wow really came through for the win. Absolutely delicious. Overall if I was in the area and neededsomething quick (and had enough cash cause ????) I might stop by again. I won't be making a special drive to go back though. Read more
I love this spot. The pesto sandwich is one of my favorite lunch items. It is so tasty and really hits the spot. The space is... warm and inviting, and the staff are friendly. And of course the desserts are bomb. They're not too sweet. My favorites arechocolate peanut butter cakes/cupcakes and any cheesecakes when available. Read more
Such a treat! Tried Vegan East for the first time this evening, and it did not disappoint. I adore cake and usually consume... non-vegan cake, and this cake blew most other cake out of the water - fluffy, creamy icing paired with moist, rich cake. Myvegan bestie ordered two types for us to try- the chocolate peanut butter and the carrot. The carrot cake was the groupfavorite. The cream cheese frosting was spot on, and I loved the spice blend and shredded carrot. Will be back again for sure! Read more
Nice place for vegan desserts. Staff were so friendly and nice. A quaint little place for when you have a craving for sweets.... The burger could use some veggies to complement the mock meat's texture. Read more

Decided to check this place out for lunch today because it is 100% plant-based from the sandwiches ???? to the pastries ????.... Was super excited to try their dessert as it hard to find restaurants that serve various dessert that are plant-based ????. WhenI first pulled up, I was instantly attracted to it & noticed that it looked more residential than commercial. The cashier wassuper helpful with providing suggestions on what I should try for lunch. I was still overwhelmed by their selection of desserts,I was ready to skip the main part of the meal. I first sampled their lemon ???? loaf ???? cake. AMAZING! It was surprisinglymoist. ???? For my main meal, I settled on the ?Tur?ky? Pesto panini. It wasn?t bad. I would?ve preferred it without the tomato.But, the bread was perfectly toasted & the ?cheese? was melted how I like it. Next time I?d like to try the grilled cheese. I found Vegan East looking for a vegan cake for my daughters 16th birthday. This place had so many beautiful cakes and pastries,... it was hard to pick! I ended up getting several things and my daughter loved all of them. Read more
