We love Thr3 Jack! I can?t speak to the golf yet, but the food, service and experience have always been great. I brought my... parents this past week and our waiter was amazing. As much as we have walked through the North Loop area, this was the first time we had ever seen this place! Not because it is... small or unnoticeable but because it is sort of hidden in the back of a courtyard with other bars and restaurants around it.This is a golf centric place with virtual golf stations, a cozy bar with ample outside tables and bar seating as well. We onlyhad drinks since we have already eaten. The menu looks good though so with the great service we received maybe we go to fivestars after we taste the dood. Read more
Great restaurant, great location. Some of the service and dishes need work. The house burger and Caesar salad is a good example... of great about the place. The pasta and the steak dishes need work, the past had no flavor but a faint taste of lemon zest. Thesteak was not seasoned. We had a great server, but she forgot to refill the non-alcoholic drinks. Love Thr3jack! The food, drinks, & ambiance are great! I have held private events here and gone with just a couple friends and... love it every time. Also love the golf/bar/restaurant combo which is very unique to anything else in the area! The owner, Lucy,is the kindest ever and is always willing to go above and beyond. As are all the staff. Went out to celebrate my 7 year anniversary and decided to take my man out. Everything was great from our server to the food! It... would have been 5 starts right until the end. As a black women, servers always assume we don?t tip, although I work in thehospitality/ restaurant industry for 10 years. To the young entitled man in a black shirt with rolled up sleeves who made thecomment ?oh great she?s obviously going to leave a -6% tip? as he walks past our table as I?m signing the receipt can go screwhimself. He was rude from the moment we sat down to the moment we left. I've told so many people about this place whom have cometo enjoy it. But since I know the staff discriminates and stereotypes the clientele, I def won?t be back. Read more
