9/2022 Update: Still my favorite local coffeeshop! Since the pandemic, they have removed all seating in the front section to... give space for people to stand and wait for orders. The wait can be long during coffee rush hours and having a safe space tostand is great! The back is opened up for seating to dine in our spend time with friends or work. I love all of their bakeddesserts, still a fan of the pistachio cake! My favorite coffeeshop!! Great drinks and food!! Love their cakes... pistachio isdreamworthy. The Coffee Shop NE seemed to be a very relaxed space when I went to check them out for the first time. There is a large dining... room-like seating area in the back of the restaurant that caught me off guard as I didn?t think the space would be so largeinside from the street view. The front of the store had on display some work from a local artist, and I felt like this could bea comfortable place to sit and read for a while. There are plenty of parking options with a public lot and free street parkingnearby, but located in an overall very walkable area. While I initially thought my order of a smoothie and breakfast wrap was abit expensive, I was super happy with the value I received once I was done. The smoothie was very refreshing, and the wrap wassurprisingly dense, filling, and flavorful. I really enjoyed it as well that for a coffee shop there is still a wide variety ofnon-coffee drinks to choose from, and I can certainly see myself trying more of their menu in the future. Read more
One of the best places for long term Coffee fans and even new fans who are unsure of the proper etiquette of a local coffee... shop. The level of actual appreciation that the staff has for each customer that comes though is far above anywhere else I'vebeen. While I will say, the Morning Crew are the strong ones, from what I've noticed, no matter the time of day I go, I alwayshave a good time and a even better drink. Don't be hesitant to try one of the custom drinks or ask for a recommendation as theywould be happy to give you one. Don't skip out on this place! This place is just beautiful. Super friendly staff and a nice overall atmosphere. Lots of tables to spread out and work. A... whole back area as well, which features more space and a stage. There was an open mic the night I went, which was great! Butalso, if you wanted to work and not hear the performers, the whole front area was apart, and had a door that shut for quietduring working.
