50-60% Price Increase on Classic Footlongs? With so many new sandwich places popping up Downtown: Jimmy Johns, Which-Which,... Erbert and Gerberts, etc.. Subway usually is not at the top of most people?s lists. With that kind of competition, it kind ofblew me away that someone at this location made a business decision to raise the prices of the $5 (or $5.59 in most places)footlongs. About a month ago, I had stopped in to this location in the Northstar Building and saw that a Footlong Cold CutCombo had jumped to over $8! The other Classics were similarly priced at $8.19, $8.39, etc. Needless to say that was a hardpass for me as I could walk two blocks over and still get those same sandwiches for the regular price. Let?s face it.. no onegoes to Subway because the sandwiches are great? we go there because we only have $5 on us and need something quick to eat. Ifsomeone planned to spend $9 for lunch, you could go to any fast food place of your choice Downtown and get something farsuperior. The sandwich looks really unorganized and also they don't have restroom !
I posted that this was as expected, but in all truth, I should put a bit more. The staff is always friendly and since I go there... at least once a week, I would say that my review was unfair. They are a very friendly and in all true a cheap option downtownfor lunch. They have the 5-dollar foot long deals that make it where with my refill cup I can get out for just under $7 Andthere is more than enough to fill me up Is this more than other subways no, but they do things right and they keep me comingback, so if you are looking for subway you should give this one a try.
