We arrived at 7 on a Sunday for a wedding in the event space a Sisyphus. It was a breeze to navigate there other than the... typical Lyndale Ave traffic. Once we arrived, parking was ample and easy. The event space is to the left door of the main taproom. It?s a simple rectangular room with a large service bar. It?s a nice space for small gatherings. The service was excellentand the bartender quickly met the initial crowds drink needs. As the night progressed, it did get very loud in the space andconversation was difficult; some acoustic architecture would help. I had the Scottish stout, which was an easy drinking andlight session beer for one of dark color. Read more

We were here for a Rokkr watch night, and we were given the viewing room (which is a secondary bar) in the back. The bartenders... were energetic and energetic serving both humans and animals with equal courtesy. The older man and woman were bartending attimes, but were also acting as gracious hosts and were helping us all evening. The alcohol selection is outstanding withseveral tasty selections on tap. Despite COVID precautions no longer in effect, the bar counter and tables were keptscrupulously clean. The only downside is that this truly is a brewery and does not have hot food options, but they seem to bepermissive about food delivery. The beer selection is outstanding, but the service and hospitality is even more enjoyable. Read more

Have great comedy shows and good beer, parking can be a pain and it?s a little off the beaten path from other spots (unless... you?re going to the Sculpture Park). But definitely worth checking out. Dog-friendly too! Read more

The absolute best brewery in the Milky Way. Sam is a true legend, folk hero if you will. The atmosphere is the most welcoming... place you've been to since the womb. This is where people come to find themselves. If you haven't been please take the time tovisit, you won't be disappointed. Read more

Tucked between the bustling Lyndale-Hennepin mess by the Basilica and Dunwoody college sits Sisyphus Brewing, a hidden gem of... Minneapolis. With their comically named delicious beer and their weekly comedy nights, this brewery is sure coming up in theMinneapolis brewery scene and finding its niche. In this reviewer's opinion, Sisyphus is consistently a top 3 brewery inMinneapolis. If the taproom looks like it used to be some kind of gutted warehouse or factory, it's because it is. But notwithout its charm. The exposed brick walls offers a classic vintage feel, the bar itself is an old bowling lane (I think), andthey recently put in some rather spacious wooden booths. The shuffle boards and board game offerings make it the perfect placeto hangout with friends and family. Sisyphus is still a smaller brewery, but I think that comes with a big advantage for them:an ever-changing tap list. They typically only have 6-9 beers on tap, but when one runs out, they almost always have a backupready to go, so you might see a changed list over one weekend. This, of course, has some drawbacks. If you really REALLY likeone of their beers, there's always a chance it won't be on tap for a few weeks. But that means you get to try one of theiranother delicious beer. And that you have to come back, because it will be different again and again (gotta catch 'emall!). They always try to offer a tap list with varying styles and strengths so that every kind of beer drinker gets what theywant. What kind of beers do they make? They make lighter beers like their "Anitsocial Apple Ale" (named by SociableCiderwerks), the traditional Belgian blond (recently made with various fruit infusions), or the citra hop session ale. Anddrinkable malty beers, like their Kentucky Common, or the "Argyle Penguin Amber" ale. And dark beers, like the "Safe Lady PeanutButter Stout" (get it?), a traditional chocolatey-sweet porter, or their imperial brown. They make a whole slew of IPAs (I liketo t Read more
