Super weak food. This is a heat and serve place, not run by a chef. Sorry, but go elsewhere for your Mexican food fix. ... Service was good, atmosphere was 'meh'. Hate the TV. It's a no. Read more

Great people. Good drinks. Excellent food. The Enchilados 3 Amigos ...I got one of each kind . The hamburger meat beef was my... favorite. But they were all so damn good. Get veggies as one of your sides. The green beans are so fresh. The fried plantainswere caramelized perfecto! Next time Ia buying that stone bowl with a bunch of different meat and all the fixins. Excellent Mexican food! The best part? All of our meals were correct and delicious. I ordered the chilaquiles with chicken and... they were very good. I also really enjoyed my agua de jamaica (hibiscus drink). The worst part? Prices were okay. Not bad butcould have been a little cheaper in my opinion. We paid about $75 (including tip) for 3 adults. Came here for lunch with a friend and was SUPER impressed with the food and drinks. There weren't many people in Midtown, so we... got sat really quickly and service came quickly behind. The drinks were tasty, came out fast, and the food was rightbehind. Service was attentive and cheerful and managed to sell me dessert, which I usually skip. I'm happy I didn't this timearound! Pictures show the food, and yes every bite was as good as it looks. Read more

There are so many amazing choices for restaurants at the global market, I chose to try a new one today. I looked at the menu at... Salsa a la Salsa and was impressed. I like to see unique items that you may net see anywhere else or new variations of classicdishes. I saw that we they offered 3 types of vegetarian tacos (grilled vegetable is the day, vegetarian chorizo and jackfruit). To tried the later two and lives them. As good as meat. The corn tortillas had great flavor and may be home made. Ialso tried their guacamole and it was perfect. Beans and rice were very good. Chips were ok. Salsas were all good and. Vertdistinct from one another and tasty. I recommend trying Salsa a la Salsa for your next meal. Read more

I was so very excited to try Salsa a la Salsa. I really wanted to love it but I'm reluctant to inform fellow folks that it just... didn't hit the spot. Maybe it was an off day? The wait staff although nice, were not or did not seem happy ( no big loss inpoints here ) as they were not rude either, maybe it was a long day? We got a a mix of tacos, including chicken and veggietacos with soy chorizo with cactus, and carnitas burrito. Overall I was expecting more in flavor and spices. I felt it was onpar with Pineda, for flavor, but more expensive. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad, it just didn't wow us to 4-5 stars either. Read more
