We ordered food based on the description in the menu. One of the items ordered was the General Tsao?s chicken as I like spicy... food, have an allergy to mushrooms, and this item?s description in the menu did not list mushrooms nor did the picture show anymushrooms. Now I have food that I can not eat. Edit: Ping?s requested I call them to fix the problem. Unfortunately, I wasvisiting Minneapolis and am not there any more so I don?t know if there is any way to fix the problem. I have revised my reviewup to 2 stars. Read more
Ping?s food is great! Their flavors are lovely and prominent, food is fresh and hot. I would recommend them as a great option in... the Minneapolis area to anyone looking for Chinese takeout. Pickup is easy and staff are so friendly. Read more
Looked up a good Asian joint and drove there with the youngsters only to discover it was take-out only due to an antiquated and... silly Covid policy still in place. Was not able to dine and will not try there again. Read more
Pictures posted looked so good and they?re located right by home. Food arrived much faster than anticipated which was great!... They were still hot and flavorful! Delivery charge was very modest (10% of food cost) and the gentleman who delivered the foodwas very kind. I prefer to support local businesses who don?t charge a lot for delivery, so I can tip the delivery person. Theseguys are it! I will order again! Read more

I haven't eaten at a lot of Chinese restaurants in Minneapolis, because when I ate here I didn't want to go anywhere else. As a... San Francisco Bay Area native I have had a lot of great Chinese food from China Town. Ping's food is really good Chinese foodand great big portions for the price. You will most likely have leftovers. Also if you are a hot and sour soup fan, try Ping's,it has the perfect amount of sour and hot in my opinion and is not sweet which I have had at other restaurants. My girlfriendalways gets the Chinese eggplant in spicy garlic sauce and adds tofu and I go around the menu. Today I got the Singapore noodlesand it is good curry noodles with lots of veggies, chicken, and a ton of shrimp. I recommend it. Also for appetizers we alwaysget the Szechuan wontons and they come in this dark garlicky sauce and are just very tasty. I highly recommend you give Ping's atry if you are in the area visiting or live downtown or in the Loring Park neighborhood. If you take transit, the 18, 10, 25,17, and 11 go right by it, and if you take the 4, 6. or 61 get off at 11th and walk 3 blocks. Read more
