I've always loved mesa, I think the options are like no other and the prices are very fair. Mesa has one of my favorite pizzas... in the cities. However, the last time I went the worker was rude and extremely condescending. We simply asked for a second tolook at the options and she became snappy. I'll reconsider eating at this location from now on. Really disapointing and I don'tunderstand why she felt the need to act the way she did. Read more

I was at Mesa pizza not too long ago. I was in line late into the night with two other friends. There were three girls ahead of... myself. A grown man walked in front of all those three girls and attempted to budge in line. He was arguing in a sense to thesethree girls who were simply trying to order and pay for their pizza. The man was making them visibly uncomfortable. As a fellowwoman, I opted to step up and tell to the man that he should get back in line. My friend had just ordered while I was in frontof her. Once the man turned back to the end of the line, I attempted to order and was met with the red-haired employee, who waswearing a pink/red top with a black cut out over top, who said ?I called you three-four times, start paying attention ok?? I wasimmediately appalled and informed her I was trying to stop someone from budging and making other women feel uncomfortable. I?vealways had good experiences at Mesa. I am hurt that I was stereotyped as the ?drunk girl? who can?t tell left from right when Iwas fully sober and trying to do my part. These biases ruin reputations and certainly has for me. I?ve always had greatexperiences at Frank and Andreas and have actually been aided by their employees to stop uncomfortable interactions for theircustomers. I hope Mesa does better truly and perhaps involve some training in dealing with potentially uncomfortable andaggressive situations for women. Read more

A tad bit expensive than the pizza chains but totally worth my money! Their specialty pizzas especially. They're freshly made... and the best part is that you could mix and match because they sell it by slice!! Read more

I just had two slices today and I still can't believe how fantastic this pizza is after discovering it about 10 years ago! I'm... originally from New Jersey and moved to Minnesota about 15 years ago and have always worked in the Twin Cities while living inthe south suburbs. I've had pizza all over this country and of course I'm partial to the NYNJ style. While MN has many regionalinfluences on its food and some really great pizza options, that I do also enjoy, this modest and funky little chain serves upsome of the most creative and delicious "pies" I've ever tried. Each one - from the most traditional Tomato and Basil with FreshMozzarella to the savory Penne Chicken Alfredo and the wild Southern Gentleman or Mac and Cheese they all hit their mark withamazing continuity and great fresh flavor. I come from the land of excellent crisp crust pie that is perhaps mostly moretraditional pizza with red sauce and maybe meatball or peperoni, mushroom, sausage and even anchovy but these guys and girlsreally get it when it comes to preparing and putting great ingredients together on that fabulous thin, crisp (but notcracker-like) crust that is the absolute heart and soul of any great "New York Style" pizza pie! At my age I have to carefully"dose" myself with this awesome treat so I don't overdo it. Every time I go and sit in the window savoring my slices it alsobrings me back home to Jersey for a few minutes and I love that too. Great Job Mesa Pizza! Read more

This is my first time visiting MN. Being a pizza lover, I asked my friend to take me to a place where they sell pizza by the... slice so that I get to try different varieties. This was one of the best pizzas I had in a while. They have specialty pizzasunique to their location. The place is located in dinkytown. The staff was amazing. Very Friendly. We tried the pasta pizzaand south western pizza. Very tasty, great food, super friendly staff. When I spoke to the staff about being out of town, theythrew in the southwest sauce for reference!!! Must try place! Read more

Excellent New York style pizza! Not quite as good as New York but the best you'll find around Minnesota. Innovative and creative... toppings like penne chicken alfredo, or pulled pork mac and cheese make this a must go to. I went back to have it again! Read more
