My wife and I went there for happy hour sushi and we felt like this was great value! We got a negihama roll, Kara-age, and the... summer roll. The negihama roll was ok, but nothing special. The kara-age was absolutely delicious. The chicken wasdeliciously browned and with the Mayo dressing was absolutely phenomenal. The summer roll was delicious. Lemony, creamy, withdelicious fish. It was the most delicious sushi roll I’ve ever had. Read more

The dining area is small and cute, but very loud. Dinner for 2 of us came out to around $50/person. We got a drink each, shared... a couple of appetizers and 2 sushi plates. The tofu karaage was very good— simple and perfectly crispy. Also enjoyed thesake. The pressed sake oshizushi was visually interesting, but the lemon slices were cut thick & the flavor was overpowering. It wasn’t pleasant to eat. The butterfly roll was messy & bland. In both of these, the fish ended up not being noticeableunder the other ingredients which was disappointing. We’ve had better sushi from the grocery store. Overall the quality andexperience just wasn’t worth the price. Read more

Got some really sad looking fish on the chef’s nigiri. Super pale (hard to tell which is salmon and which is tuna) and the... one piece I tasted was very blah. Used to love this place, but no dice today. Server didn’t even ask why we left the platefull. Read more

My friends and I enjoyed the outdoor season because the inside was incredibly noisy! The menu was very expansive, which we all... appreciate, and our food was nicely portioned and excellent! Read more

So, I was craving some authentic Japanese food and after a quick Google search, I found Kyatchi. Now, needless to say, I know... that truly authentic Japanese food is a rarity here in the U.S. All you really ever get is sushi and ramen! But, the menu seemedpromising to me at the time. I had never seen OSHIZUSHI (Kyatchi's famous pressed sushi) before, so I ordered the: SAKEOSHIZUSHI * (GF) $22 "our famous pressed sushi with salmon, slice of lemon and tobiko" ^^ This was really flavorful and had thethinnest lemon slice I've even seen! The lemon really enhanced the flavor of the salmon. However, for the price, I was honestlyexpecting a bigger serving size to potentially share with my partner... but, it was an extremely small sushi roll. I alsoordered one of the KUSHIMOMO (SKEWERS). I chose the SHISHITO (Japanese sweet chili pepper) in a yakitori sauce, which thewaitress recommended. It was really good! And reasonably priced at $4.25. The last thing I ordered was a Ume (pickled plum)Shiso Maki Roll for $8.75. It was very interesting, especially to my particular palate, and I'm so glad I gave it a try! I'm notsure if I'd order it again, but it was definitely worth the try. However, the price seemed a bit steep since this roll ONLY hadthe pickled plum, rice and Shiso leaf. Unfortunately, I don't know if those items are pricey, but it just "seemed" high to me.Usually, vegetarian Maki Rolls are closer to $5. My partner ordered a bowl of Ramen for $15 (which is a very standard price, inmy opinion) and he really enjoyed it. The broth was flavorful and not too salty like some I've had before. The pork belly wasalso really, really delicious! The only thing I didn't like about the restaurant was that they played hardcore EDM (that Iwould love at a music festival or dance club) which I just did NOT think suited the environment at all. It really made me feelrushed and a bit anxious considering I was really in the mood for a relaxing, authentic dinner. Other than Read more
