Incredible food. Excellent service and atmosphere. We came here while visiting family in Minneapolis. We split the Sakoo... appetizer. I had the red chicken curry and my wife had the beef shank. We finished with the mango sorbet. All of which wasgreat. We'll definitely be back. Read more

Love the look of the restaurant. Appetizers were better than majority of the main dishes. Food was a bit flavorful but they held... back on the spices. If you love spicey food you will have to ask for their spicy pepper (which again isn't very spicy but doeshave a kick to it). Pasta dish (not pictured) was overly salty but the shrimp was fresh and cooked perfectly. We may come backfor the appetizers, pretty drinks and atmosphere in the near future. Read more

We didn't make a reservation and were seated at the bar. The bartender and other staff were all very friendly and helpful.... Lovely decor and lighting. Unique and delicious take on the South East Asian flavors. We didn't have to wait long for food anddrink despite the full house. Read more

Gorgeous, colorful food that tastes incredible. If you've never had Laotian food, this is the place to start. We have been here... twice so far and have tried a variety of dishes- every single one is delicious. My favorite is the fried whole mango fish, whichis the perfect balance of sweet and sour with crispy skin and soft, flaky meat. The curries are excellent as well with greatdepth of flavor and slight heat. We were happy with the service, had all our questions answered, and always had what we needed. The desserts are also to die for! The restaurant itself is also beautiful and a nice place to go for date night. We are soexcited for the next time we come back. I highly recommend this restaurant! Read more

Khaluna was something I was always hesitant about trying. I love Laotian food for it's simplicity and flavor profiles but... mainstreaming it to a higher end restaurant seemed like a gamble. That feeling is sort of how I felt when I walked inside aswell, like a gambler. The immaculate new interior and the plethora of young wait staff made me doubt what would comenext. Fortunately the food was actually decent. I wouldn't say every dish, but most had something going on. I'll say the priceis pretty steep. I'll also say the entrees are definitely large and if I went back I'd just get that and a dessert, the startersweren't that great. The service was okay, needs some improvement and the kitchen speed is very slow. It took around an hour toget our starter. I think maybe years from now I'd come back, once they work out the kinks. The space is beautiful and just makes you happy being in it. We had a lovely dinner during severe storm warnings that caused a... temporary power outage but the staff didn't miss a beat. The sauces and broths are packed with rich flavor and comforting (redcurry and short rib). There are a lot of playful dishes with textures of puffed rice, dried fruit, shrimp flakes and freshflowers. Our favorite dishes were the pineapple noodle salad with warm coconut milk and shrimp and the duck fried rice.Everything was as pretty as it was delicious. It's a must go. Read more

An amazing menu and fun space! Our server Memory truly made the evening a night to remember! We visited for dinner with six... individuals. Their menu is best served while sharing dishes family style, we opted to order our own individuals meals and wishedwe had listened to her recommendations. The cocktails are delightful with whimsy. The food was so unique and delicious! Memorywas very attentive to recommend how to accommodate our group and recommend how to pair most of our dishes. She did an amazingjob at explaining the included service charge, but we were all expecting the fee as it’s becoming a very common practice withrestaurants in the metro and we’re always happy to pay more to make sure the staff is well taken care of and can continue tothrive in our amazing cities!
