I like these kind of places that offer great customer service and quick service. It's location is nice and easy to find. The... coffee and pastries are excellent and if it's cool outside you can grab something to warm up with. Overall I enjoyed being thereand I don't have a problem going there again and referring others to do so Read more

Weak creamer, but otherwise great. I learned that I don't like cold brew and then tried an iced latte there, which was much... better. I also had food there. I just needed somewhere to charge my phone and pass the time before I got a tattoo the day I wasthere after discovering that the Riverview had shut down. Still sad about that. But I immediately asked the first stranger I sawwhere the next nearest coffee shop was and was directed to this one. According to my dad I've been there before, I just don'tremember it because I was too young to have retained the visit. I had four hours to do whatever. Initially thought the wrap Iordered was overpriced, but then when it was brought to me, that changed - because it was twice the portion size I expected plussome chips! Very tasty and filling. Might return. Dog-friendly; I got puppy kisses and was glad I brought my sanitizer. In mynotes I rated the whole experience an 8 out of 10, and if I do go back, I'll be buying a mug because I liked the texture andcolor choices on those. Read more

I love this spot. The coffee is great. The scones are the best in south Minneapolis since Colossal Cafe left- my only beef with... this spot is the speed. Baristas are so slow. I saw a lady stand at the POS counter today for at least 10 minutes before gettinggreeted. If you are getting a coffee to-go, be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes. I?m not into slamming shops on Google and givingthem one star for stuff. But, I feel like speed and efficiency is the one thing Fireroast could work on. Otherwise, perfectspot. Read more

Ok so I really like this place. The breakfast sandwiches are bomb and the drinks are pretty good. They are in my neighborhood,... so it?s a perfect walk during the summer. Ok so why the 2 stars if this place slaps? Because they have the worst wait times. Itwill take 30 minutes to make a single breakfast sandwich on a slow day. I have on multiple occasions called my order in ahead, arrived to pick it up 20 minutes later, and waited 20 more minutes to get my food. The icing on the cake is often they don?tbother calling out the orders, so you just stand there wasting time. It is so frustrating. I have stopped coming here as oftenas I would just because it?s a minimum 20 minute affair to get a latte and 45 to get a sandwich. Read more
