Very, very good. The masa chips came with amazing salsa and guac and the smoked mushroom tacos were, perhaps, the best tacos... I've ever had(!) After my last bite, I kept licking the inside of my mouth, refusing to take another sip of my gorgeous andexcellent cocktail. The server was okay, he didn't explain the menu too much. He recommended 2-3 plates per person, which isfair, we got 4 plates total for 2 people but that included our app and dessert, and we were very full. The churros wereamazingly doughy and sweet and the perfect ending to the meal. With 1 cocktail our bill was $115 including tip, just as a headsup. But, excellent! Worth it! Recommended!! Read more

One of the best restaurants we've been to in a while! The do have a parking lot, but very few spaces, so you'll probably have... to park in the surrounding neighborhood if you don't show up at open. Service was great. Can't compliment our server, Taylor, enough! He was down to earth, friendly, and super helpful in making menu recommendations. The drinks here were amazing. A lotof places make drinks too sweet a) to give you less alcohol or b) because their bar staff don't know what they're doing. Nothere! The three drinks we got were perfectly balanced. Even the "sweet" drink we got wasn't that sweet! The "Naked Dani" isthe drink you've seen pictures of with the little rubber duck. My gf got it and it was good. You even get to keep theduck! Food here is excellent as well. It's tapas style small plates, each dish is easy to share with two people. Seasoningwas great, creating robust and flavorful dishes. No bland food here! Everything was delicious, but highly recommend the ColitaOld Fashioned, Tlayuda, Lamb Barbacoa Tacos. And be sure to save room for Churros as dessert! We'll definitely be back! Read more

Colita is a tapas style restaurant with a cute vibe and aesthetic. We started off with mocktails, the Rosas, which was excellent... and the Naranjitas which was not as carbonated as I would have liked. From the tapas we tried the charred eggplant tostada, thetempura shrimp tacos, the chicken tingas tostada, and the elote. We had to send back the charred eggplant tostadas to thekitchen as they were way too charred and I felt like I was eating burned eggplant. The tempura shrimp tacos were the clearwinners of the evening, although the shrimp was quite overcooked. The elote was really good and had a nice spicy kick to it. Wefinished off the evening with the churros, which were good, but in some bites I felt like I could really taste the oil that theywere fried in. The service was excellent, all the wait staff and the bartenders were extremely kind and attentive. And I lovethat the restaurant is gluten free, which makes everything so much lighter on your stomach. I wish the food was a little better, given all the hype and the price, but the vibe, aesthetic, and service are on point. Read more

Expect to wait longer than intended. We were seated 20 minutes after our reservation time, then after ordering we waited 30... minutes between each dish. The staff were clearly overstretched and were unable to provide updates on the delay. Once we finallygot our food, I was mostly disappointed since over half the dishes were underseasoned. The final nail in the coffin was theterrible dessert, which absolutely ruined the meal. The churros were raw and doughy in the center. The tres leches cake was toosweet and tasted like a plain vanilla cake with bananas. The saving grace of the meal was the guacamole and tlayuda.Unfortunately I would not recommend this place to a friend. I'd only come back if I were forced to attend an event, otherwise Iwill actively avoid this restaurant Read more

We had such a lovely evening at Colita! We liked the tapas style menu, it was nice to be able to try so many different items... between the two of us. The kitchen staged the meal well and always had the next item ready as we finished a plate. The tunatostada and churros were my favorites, and my husband enjoyed the shrimp and pork tacos. Everything was flavorful, and Iespecially enjoyed the blue corn used in the tortillas. We sat on the patio and it was an awesome summer date night. While theprice point does make this more of a special occasion restaurant, we had a fun and relaxing time and will be back again. Read more

I am a big fan of Colita! It does not have an outrageously huge menu to the point that I do not know what to choose, and it has... a good enough variety that allows you to feel like you have choices. The portions are not huge, but in turn the food does notmake you outrageously full. First of all, the churros is a must! The most creative and delicious churros I have had! Then thecacio e pepe stacked tostadas is a go to dish as well! After that I will recommend the lamb barbacoa tacos. The aguachile isgreat as well, but you do not feel close enough to full after a plate. Overall I strongly recommend everyone visiting this placeat least once, and make sure you reserve a week ahead!
