K I had a grilled chicken sandwich, which sounds pretty damn basic but it was delicious. The seasoning on the chicken has some... kick to it, it was perfectly cooked & not dry, and the bun & everything else on it was super fresh. They have homemade lemonadewhich sounds wonderful but they also had a big thing of infused water, so I opted for that, which was also wonderful. Read more

As an avid supporter of North Minneapolis and Black-owned businesses, I will not stop recommending this place. It is all around... excellent in every way possible. I strongly recommend the savory dry rub chicken, the blackened shrimp and grits, and the veggieburger. Granted I did not have every single dish, but those three I have had, and they are just outstanding. When I ordered, Idid such over the phone because I had a $75 budget I had to spend using the corporate card. Because of the affordable pricesBreaking Bread had, I ordered A LOT of food. The person at the counter was exceptional at not only listening to my order overthe phone, but also making sure the ones who were dining in were serviced. I left her a $20 tip in cash because of how great shewas. The receipt said her name was Monica W. They were out of desserts when I was ordering, so the next time I visit, whether itis take out again or dining in, I will try their dessert as well as some of the dishes I have not had yet! Highly recommend! Read more
