We were only in Minneapolis for one weekend and had a whole list of new restaurants to try, including Boludo. We ended up going... to Boludo twice, happily sacrificing other restaurants on our list, because we were so impressed during our first visit! Theatmosphere (think modern South American pub ? soccer, Bad Bunny, and Latin rock), the food, and the service were unmatched. Westarted with the de la casa salad which was fresh, bright, and a beautiful blend of ingredients (not to mention a heapingplateful of greens!). The Boludo dressing is something you will be craving after you leave and trying to recreate at home. Next,we ordered the empanadas. Being from South America and having taste-tested our fair share of empanadas, we had high standardsfor the empanadas; Boludo more than exceeded those standards. Their empanadas are generously filled with prime ingredients, andthe baked empanada dough is a fresh and healthier take on the typical fried empanada. The flavor offerings are a mix oftraditional and unique (highly recommend the humita), and all served with a delicious chimichurri. We easily could have made ameal out of the empanadas paired with the salad, but pizza was a must. As pizza connoisseurs ourselves, we were extremelyimpressed with all aspects of the pizza: the crust was perfectly cooked and an amazing finale to each slice, the sauce was agreat balance of hearty and sweet, the ingredients were high quality and plentiful, and the shaved parmesan on top was just the*chef?s kiss.* We ordered the Pepperoni and the Sarandara. We finished the meal with the flan. If you have never been a fan offlan, Boludo?s may change your mind. It?s almost a mixture of flan and crème brûlée, topped with dulce de leche and candiedpecans. The chef/manager was very welcoming as a fellow South American and you can tell he genuinely cares for his customers andwants them to enjoy their time in his restaurant. We can?t wait to return to Minneapolis and visit Boludo again! Read more

I have had a lot of pizza all over the country and I make my own pizza from scratch for my Gozney pizza oven. That being said... this is probably the worst tasting pizza I have had. I order the standard pepperoni pizza and it was extremely greasy andsweet. The pizza had such a strong sweet flavor it tasted like candy which is not a desirable trait that I look for in pizza. Now my wife ordered gluten free Sarandara. Where do I start the gluten free crust was like they used box of gluten free bread nosimilarity to pizza dough. The crust was so thick that to cook it properly they basically had to burn the bottom. Now gettingpast the crust they added about a pound of cheese which just makes the overall pizza extremely heavy. My wife and I never letfood go to waste but this time we had to just take our losses. Definitely do not recommend this place a lot of better options inthe area. Read more

Loved their pizza. We had a pizza with cheese, spinach, and little cherry tomatoes. It was very good! It was supposed to come... with arugula but for some reason it came with spinach. Was still tasty. Everything was very salty, so some people might not likethat. I also got a diet coke in a bottle which was fun too. The staff were nice and kind. The bathrooms were a real experience.Had UV lights and edm music when we were in them. I'll definitely be coming back for more good. Also, the pizza was only 18$ andit fed both of us. Read more

This place is an absolute gem. The Cesar salad was massive for $10, I was full by the end. The spicy croutons was delightful and... the cheese paired with the sauce was absolutely spectacular. One of the best Cesar salads I?ve ever had. My friend got thepepperoni pizza. It was quite hearty. He was not able to finish even with my help. Also, not pictured, I had an empanada thatwas just delightful and a beer that paired well with everything. Big props to the owners, an easy and chill space. The greatmeal for two: 2 empanadas, share a salad, and split a pizza. Btw the bathrooms are so cool! Read more

These pizzas have a unique style: big crusty edges with sea salt, amazing tomatoes sauce, and unique ingredients touched by... argentine culture and flavors. Whether is take out or dine in, each experience is perfect. They have to locations, bothbeautiful spots, both full of Argentine culture and details, both with amazing service. They are my to go place when cravinggood pizza that feels like home (no matter where you are from). Read more

Boudoir was great! Stopped I'm for a Friday lunch and sat on the patio, it was excellent. The patio has limited seating and... they are smaller are style tables, so keep that in mind. The interior was also not massive but just fine for groups of 6 orless. The staff was very friendly and service was quick. The menu had lots of cool options but we went with a Prosciutto pizzaand a variety of Empanadas. Let me say some of the best Empanadas I've ever had, they were all good and would highly recommendany of the types. The pizza was also excellent with a nice crispy, woof fired crust. My only minor complaint is the crazyamount of arugula on the pizza (No biggie, just took some off). The beer and wine selection was also good and was able to trysome new, less common kinds. Incredible empanadas! There?s nothing else like Boludo in the Twin Cities. The empanadas are always fresh and flavorful. I... studied abroad in Argentina, and eating these empanadas gives me instant nostalgia. Their deserts are great too. I want to trytheir pizza some day- it looks and smells amazing! Read more
