Reviews for Black Sheep Coal Fired Pizza in Minneapolis, MN
Very short staffed when we initially arrived. When staff did come in we were completely ignored and almost left. The pizza... is fine. Nothing to write home to mom about. Don't get a bunch of toppings, the crust is soggy then. The only wonderfulthing about this place is the seating. One wall is completely open when it's nice out so it's like you are sitting on thepatio but you are inside. Read more
Pizza was perfect, staff was ultra friendly and helpful and the restaurant had a super cool set up where you’re almost sitting... outside when you’re inside!!! Read more
Honestly, my favorite pizza in the Twin Cities. Their crust is what makes the pizza. It really elevates the fresh ingredients... that they use on their signature pizzas. Their drink selection is pretty good, offering 10 cocktails and a range of local beers, wines, and ciders. I will definitely keep coming back for more of that delicious 'za. Read more
I just moved into the neighborhood a few weeks ago and decided to give this place a try. The pizza is delicious and the food was... made quickly. It was great… except for the gross mystery thing I found in my pizza. I was super horrified fishing this longrubbery thing out of my mouth. It was chewy and fatty… possibly sausage casing? Either way, super gross and I lost myappetite. Including picture so I can [hopefully] get some assurance that it’s not something worse. Read more
Some of the best thin crust pizza I've had in MN. They happened to be very busy and possibly short staffed when we went, and to... compensate the wait, the manager brought complimentary ceasar salads for our table. Very good pizza if you like light, crispycrust. Read more
Meatball, Ricotta and Garlic pizza, and a Fennel, Onion, Green Olive, Persian Beef and Artichoke Pizza. Washed it down with a... Mexican Coke. Happy Tummy. First time and I loved it Read more
I'm surprised a restaurant like this on Eat Street is lacking so much in vegan options. The pizza felt kind of bland, with the... veggies and crust being pretty limp. For pizza, I'd definitely go to the nearby Galactic, Lucé, or Toppers. I'd say stick tothe "from the grill" veggies. The portobello and arugula were my favorite and the mixed veggie skewer was nice too. Just makesure to ask for them without cheese. Read more
