Portions were small and prices aren’t cheap, yes. But this was an outstanding restaurant with inventive and thoughtful small... plates, really showcasing on unique combinations of flavors and textures. Grilled peaches, artichoke, pine nut hummus, peppers, lovage, scallions, manchego cheese? They make this combination work, and the flavors are stunning. Salad was luxurious bed oflettuce bathed in a herbaceous anchovy? dressing, with a dusting of ground nuts adding a crunch. We literally closed my eyes andsavored each piece of lettuce hoping the meal wouldn’t end. Read more

One of my favorite restaurants in Minneapolis. The chef creates a weekly menu of smaller scratch kitchen plates along with new... wine pairing options. Great for date night if you are willing to spend a little extra on exceptional food. The nice thing aboutthe menu is that there is no pressure to order a full meal. The balance of flavors in every dish is purely amazing. Their focuson sourcing natural wines and local foods is what all restaurants should be doing. Thank you, Bar Brava! Read more

The food was fantastic and beautiful, I loved the 2 wines (one was a cherry something, the other a rose) and vermouth cocktail... that I had- amazing. So cool that it's a rotating menu so we can try new things whenever we go back! Staff were super friendlyand helpful with answering questions. I cannot stress enough how delicious every single bite was... The mushrooms and chickenespecially! Read more

We drove just across the river to ease into a cozy winter night at the quiet but steadily comfortable, jazz/R&B grooving,... clean-lined wine bar close to our neighborhood. The menu is small, the vibe is Spanish tapas, and the natural wine list iscommitted to your enjoyment. Please scoot yourself over to Bar Brava. - Sardine toast with ricotta with mint - Smoked Brusselssprouts with chipotle aioli and cotija - Clams with parsley butter and rice dumplings - Chorizo and peppers paella - Naturalwines from Old World and New, plus herbal Catalonian vermouth Wine by glass ranged from $8–13 for slightly smaller pours(maybe 3.5–4 oz.?). Food are on the smallish side but two of us were satisfied with the above selections. Read more

I’ve been wanting to try this place for about two years! Finally made it out and it exceeded my expectations! The music,... venue, the beer selection and the exquisite cuisine! We had sardine, shrimp stuffed green pepper, and scallops meal. (Muchfancier names on the menu lol). I personally don’t like sardines and was impressed by this appetizer. The scallops on theother hand, were unique with a peculiar taste that I recommended you try! Scallop meal was a Great conversation starter becauseyou’ll want to find out what’s included in the yummy dish! The staff was wonderful and so engaging! Can’t wait to go backto try out other dishes. Initially I was denied access with my service dog. I needed to educate the manager. The waiter was awesome and attentive. Food... was yummy, small portions, but beautiful displayed. My entire group 6 hated the zucchini dish but I liked it. Very limited wineselection which was disappointing. Ambiance was classy and clean. But overall great wine experience. Read more

The food is so good, but I want to drink my way through Bar Brava. Every wine by the glass had big personality and depth and... ranges from $10-15. They have a cellar full of wine to hand pick an obscure bottle for very reasonable prices. I chose asparkling, very dry reisling that was celebratory and perfection for $36. I want to go back..tomorrow. Read more
