Really nice staff and amazing food. The Nutella and Strawberry Panini was great and the avocado toast was delicious.
Kind of obsessed with this trendy little spot and the shopping next door! The Old Baker cocktail is definitely strong and... definitely delicious! Also really loved The Tommy cocktail. The personal pizzas were a good size and reasonably priced.Definitely give this place a visit when you make your way through town! Read more
We grabbed dinner about 6p the night before we left our stay at the Crazy Water Hotel (girls trip) ... it had a fun atmosphere... and a guy was setting up for live music later in the evening ... it's a cute concept and has a window between it and The Marketat 76067 to serve coffee, etc ... it wasn't busy at all, there were a couple of people at the bar ... everyone was very nice ...I got the chicken pesto sandwich which was good, but on the smaller side ... as they have goat cheese on the menu, I asked if Icould substitute it for the provolone but they only had a flavored goat cheese so I passed ... the chips that came with mysandwich were heavily peppered, which most people probably like, but I don't so I asked if they had any other kind of chips butthey didn't. The details of this review will sound as if it is negative towards the establishment and the bar staff but it is anything but... that. I should start off by saying that I am a local and a patron of this establishment often. On Saturday 2/12 there was alocal event that provided alcohol to many locals in what the bartenders I am sure after seeing, thought to be a controlledenvironment. After the even was over many of the people DROVE no walked to this local establishment. You could tell that many ofthem were intoxicated yet the bartenders handled this with such professionalism. A group of people insisted that they be servedbecause ?they know the owners? and they felt they were entitled to continue to drink when the bartenders were not comfortableserving them. As a 25 year veteran bartender, it takes a lot to tell a customer that they are being cut off because they areshowing physical signs of being intoxicated. The bartenders were not only physically touched in a manor that was inappropriatefrom picking up drinks but verbally abused from people from this local event to where they did not feel comfortable. Thebartenders stood their ground (as they should) and cut the people off. Too many people now a days don?t care that thebartenders have their best interest at heart but this night, the girls did! You should be praising your staff for a job welldone even in your absence. It doesn?t matter who the owners are, it matters that people get home to their families! You need alocal GM who knows better? From time to time in the past I have been frustrated with the quality of service for this place, butthis night I could have not been more proud of them! There is no where else in town that we go so this is a very importantthing that we witnessed, and I couldn?t be more proud of the staff that night. Read more
First time I've been here and it was Wednesday night. Old baker and old fashioned drink specials $7 all night. Old Baker is... probably the best bourbon drink I've had, and this is someone who loves whisky and has been on the Bourbon trail of Kentucky.The pecan infused ice was a nice touch, and those Luxardo cherries.
