First time eating there. The service was excellent, food was hot and tasty when It hit the table and the environment was... relaxing. As someone that used to go to the original Tim's many many years ago, this place was huge. Clean, large restaurant with great... AC. Had the fried oysters as an appetizer, excellent. Lightly fried and the batter did not overwhelm the taste of the oysters.Normally we would order a dozen large or extra large crabs but the shipment wasn't in yet (something to consider then you are along way from the Potomac), so we went with the all you can eat crabs. Not bad. There were a couple of crabs that were empty,but there were several that were perfect, in all pretty good. The only thing is there was no paper put down on the table asthere should be in a crab house. We didn't get a bucket for the waste, no mallet or cracker, it made it difficult to eat thecrabs. Really nice facility with great views, especially from deck seating. Sadly, however, server and hostess seemed to not have had... any training or experience whatsoever. They lack even basic expected restaurant customer service skills. First I was served aniced tea with a large dead fly floating in it. No apologies at all. We had to request three or four times for simple things likelemons and more water. It was not a busy time or a lot of guests at the time. Tuna bites were delicious. But crab soup wasawful! Taste like lumpy flour mixed with soured skim milk, no spices and little to no crabmeat. No apologies on that either.They have a sign posted out front asking patrons to understand staff shortage. They had plenty of staff but no training and noapparent management or supervision around. Good luck to them, hopefully they can correct issues before they run most guests off. Read more

We went in a rainy Saturday morning. It wasn?t crowded. Barely anyone in there. The service was excellent and the food was... really good. I had the crab balls and hush puppies. My husband at the oyster poboy. The fries are those crispy fries with thebatter on them. I love those! I?m looking forward to going back on a nice day and sitting outside if we can. I assume when theweather is nice they are way busier. They have a sign out front about being short staffed and we were there on a rainy but theservice was so good. Prompt, pleasant, and thoughtful. The food was great!!! The service was great!!! The only bad thing was I live in Mount Pocono Pa and I can?t travel there every... day! I was told I was the first to try their Alaskan crab legs in a steam bag ?.. and it was awesome!!! I highly recommend thisplace for food and the sites (great photo opportunities). Great family spot, romantic getaway, or a place to go have a couple ofgreat drinks. WE WILL BE BACK!!! Read more
