Reviews for Taglio Pizza in Mineola, NY
A rip off . $6.50 for the smallest buffalo slice in the world and it didn?t taste good. Don?t come here
Some of the best pizza I?ve had on Long Island. Very unique compared to other run of the mill pizza shops. They really take... pride in their craft and use high quality ingredients to make everything. 10/10 Read more
I stopped at Taglio Pizza for the first time on my to jury duty in Mineola, and I must say this is the closest I ever got... without ever going to Italy, when it comes to authentic pizza. The best tasting pizza I've had in years. With every bite Itasted the fresh basil and, other Italian herbs. Whenever I am in Mineola again, I will make it mandatory to stop in for a sliceor two. Dag-Nab-It !!! This place has kinda ruined me for Pizza. I don't live close by, but all my regular joints won't ever live up to... this level. Now I either need to allow for travel time or suffer with subpar fare. The pizzas are way creative, well beyond bbqand buffalo chicken. You could say they are sophisticated. And the ovens are key. I think there is only one other place all theway out in Greenport that also has them. It's worth the trip, but be warned - it may ruin you too. Read more
This is hands down the best pizza in Long Island- it?s Roman style and it uses great quality ingredients. I was in Rome for a... wedding a couple years ago- I didn?t have slices this good, believe me I looked. I won?t disparage any other pizza joint. Butif you?re eating Sysco industrial products instead of this, you are what is wrong with society. Go here- the people are supernice. Read more
Stopped here with my girlfriend for an early dinner on the way home. She ordered a spinach & artichoke slice, I ordered two... buffalo chicken slices. Both of my slices were burnt, to the extent that there was an audible crunch when I bit into the crust.I overheard, later, two of the guys behind the counter saying that the oven had been set wrong all day long. Pretty big goof fora professional pizzeria. At least they have cool 80s retro decor. Read more
Incredible Roman style pizza. I tried the pepperoni, white, spinach and artichoke, eggplant parm, mushroom, and chicken marsala... slices. The pepperoni was absolutely incredible. Extremely CRISPY... It didn't make it past the ride home. All of the otherslices were fantastic. The dough has a unique flavor and you can also taste the oil in each slice. Highly recommended! Read more
Hidden gem in Mineola. If you like Italy style pizza, this place transports you there without the airfare. Haven?t been to... another pizzeria on Long Island that serves such thin crispy crust or that wonderful hearty crunchy Sicilian style. Only Mineolacommuters know if this place but if you call yourself a foodie, do check them out. You won?t have regrets. Read more
