Not worth $600+ for stay. Although all covid restrictions have dropped, a four night stay provided 0 housekeeping. Checking in... no one at desk, cleaning staff had to open rm so we could check in after waiting 10min at front desk. Room although clean wasrun down, broken bthrm outlet, wood pieces reinforcing bthrm door etc etc. Coffee maker provided but no milk or cream put infridge supposed to ask for it at front desk yet twice no one available. Would not recommend. Read more
A nice little place right on the lake. Good restaurant attached to it. Lots of options in terms of boating, sitting by the fire... or having a fire in your room with a fireplace. Read more

We did not stay here but we did attend dinner. I see many 5* reviews and it all seems to be based on the pizza. I truly wish I... had have read them before we went. I was extremely disappointed with my food. Portion size was terrible (and I?m not a bigeater). I received stale pita bread which was suppose to be garlic bread. The fish one of my party members ordered wasundercooked and the fries were cold and limp. I have been here for breakfast a few times and it?s been great. Tonight however, Iwas far from impressed. We ordered take out pizza from the Red Umbrella last night and it was amazing! The best pizza we have had in ages! While we... waited for our pizza to be cooked, we enjoyed a drink outside on the patio, over-looking the lake. The bartender was so helpfuland friendly. We are always on the endless search, for good quality food. A Good, Home style Breakfast is few and far to be found. A freind... had recommended the Red Umbrella Inn a couple of years ago, covid happened, we forgot. In my reading up on some localhappenings, the Inn is mentioned. I called them, they were opened, breakfast being served. We did the beautiful drive up, offthe highway on a beautiful lake, is the Inn. We walked up to the door, were warmly welcomed by the hostess, we met Lindsey ourserver, and were brought into the dining area. A beautiful view of the lake, a warm rustic feeling, airy, spacious, veryinviting and comfortable. My friend had commented, and highly recommended the Inn, for its high standards, we were going to findout, if things had changed over the last couple of years. Lindsey, brought us coffee, and juice. My lady commented on how goodthe coffee was. We ordered French Toast, sausage s, and Pancakes with bacon. We brought, Maple syrup, and our hot sauce, just incase???? We had great conversation with our server Lindsey, and the food arrived. We knew immediately, that all was well. Askedif there was Maple syrup, Michael the chef commented, "of course". I asked for hot sauce, I was offered regular or homemade, Ismiled tried the homemade, perfect???? Fresh Whipped cream, fresh Fruit, Pancakes and French toast, bacon, sausages, coffee andJuice, with service to match, All Outstanding!! Finally a Restaurant that will not disappoint. Recently travelled to the area on our motorbikes. Had trouble finding a place to stay but ended up at the Red Umbrella. Our... accommodations were pretty average it was an older building and appeared to be in mid repair. To be fair it was their lastroom. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was dated and needed work. Overall the unit was clean just old and tired. Therestaurant/bar was a great spot. The bar tender / server was running all night and she was awesome. The food was amazing , noreally it was exceptional and would highly recommend you stop by even if your not staying. Our experience in the dining room isthe reason we will return.
