Did takeout on a whim one morning using one of those food delivery apps (they're pretty much the same, minus nuance). My... breakfast was tasty, the pancakes were fluffy and I wasn't asking for much more. I brain-listed this establishment as needs moredata and my gustatory sensibilities knew that meant a repeat visit in the future. I got to see inside since it was pick up andwith growing up in Roseburg, I would say it's more akin to rural and old fashioned nostalgia. First of all, service is excellent and portions are more than adequate. The food was good but not at the same level as the... service. The biscuits and gravy might be okay by Oregon standards but anyone who grew up farther south and east is going to bedisappointed. The biscuit was a bit heavy and dry and the gravy wasn't the rich, creamy country gravy with bits of sausage thatI grew up eating. French fries are natural cut and unblanched, which my picky 11-year-old found off-putting. They're perfectlyfine for hand-cut fries but just not what he likes. We took our mom there for her 81st. We met up around 930 a.m. and enjoyed our meal and our conversation so much we were still... there at noon! Gramma helped us take photos. Oz, our waiter, and the hostess were right on point with friendly fast service. The food Gramma cooked was delicious. The coffee kept topped up. An incredible gem of a restaurant in Milwaukee. Small family run with a solid all American breakfast. Super friendly staff, our waiter was the best!???? Super friendly and... helpful when we asked for recommendations.Reasonable prices and good food. I ordered the corned beef hash that comes withonions, peppers, hashbrowns, eggs and an English muffin.
