Service was excellent, the hostess was inviting and pleasant. The space itself was beautifully decorated, open concept with lots... of light. The food was soooo good!! We started with the lavender latte which was delicious. For our brunch entree I ordered theMemphis chicken and creme brulee french toast and my companion had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was wonderfullyflavored. The French toast just the right amount of sweet. We stopped that all off with the lavender mimosa. The next time I'min Milwaukee I will definitely return as there were many items on the menu I wanted to try. Read more
Really good. Meat lover skillet super good and huge. Madame sandwich was ok. Nutella crepes outstanding! Great service. I don't... know why we have to wait 15 min when there were 8 tables empty and clean. When we left there were people waiting outside andthere were 11 tables ready to use. Read more
Love this brunch spot in Milwaukee downtown! Such a chic and cute place! Food was delicious, everything tasted wonderful,... environment was clean and vibes here were great. Really enjoyed my time here with my family and the food. I had seen this place pop up on my suggestions several times and I even saved it but I just never got to trying it out. It... wasn?t until a friend recommended it that I finally stopped by. Let me tell you! I should?ve gone sooner!! One of the best, ifnot THE best breakfast and brunch place in Milwaukee. Everything from the main entrees to the toast is delicious! It is alsovery unique, not a place you can find just anywhere. The first time here not only the food was good, but so was the service. Ourserver was very patient and friendly. Since then, we request her if she is working on that day. I am very glad my friendrecommended Sweet Diner, this is my breakfast place now! Read more
Nice place to eat. We had breakfast on Saturday morning. Had to wait 25 min for a table at 9:00 am. Service was pretty good.... Took us 45 min from ordering to paying. The food was very tasty pouched eggs were over done on the Benedict. Read more
Absolutely love the food, atmosphere and the service!! Food portions are huge so come with a empty belly!! Service was awesome... and we loved how bright and beautiful the place was. We absolutely adored Sweet Diner. We were staying at the Journeyman a block away, so we happened upon this cute diner by chance,... and are so glad we did. The atmosphere and ambiance was perfect, blush pinks and warm tones make it so inviting. I had theChicken & Biscuits (think Eggs Benedict meets chicken & waffles - but the waffles are homemade chive biscuits and far betterthan waffles) and I have to say this was one of my favorite brunch dishes EVER! Seriously, insanely good. We had severaldrinks; mimosas, Sweet Diner mimosas, Bloody Mary, and an alcoholic coffee, all amazing. To top it all off, we had a brunchdessert (first time for us) called the Sweet Tooth, and holy cow, it's basically French toast over vanilla ice cream with freshfruit. I enjoyed the time I spent at Milwaukee Sweet Diner. The atmosphere was comfortable and the food was very delicious. The... bathroom was clean and the dining area was clean as well. The waiter was very nice and before I can ask her for more water shewas already pouring it for me. Who was very pleasing to speak to even though I had a hard time understanding what she saidbecause of my hearing she made sure I understood what was on the menu and even my sister was saying how nice and howprofessional she was. I am sure that I will go back again for this dining experience I definitely enjoyed a lot. The food wasvery delicious and at the correct temperature. I am sure if you go there your feelings will be the same as mine I'm ready to goback today if I had a chance thank you to all the waiters and the comfortable environment you have made for me and my family. Ihad breakfast food. I definitely would go back only I will need to bring someone else with me as they are not handicap accessible. That was the only downfall.
