Reviews for Soup Market in Milwaukee, WI
Underrated, great place to get a quick bite to eat and avoid traditional "fast food." Food is high quality and super quick.... Prices are reasonable. Plan on $8-12 for soup, half sandwich, and a drink. 10/10 lunch spot! Read more
Great lunch spot! Soup rotation provides a good variety
Always good. The African peanut soup is a must. They were out of the tuna melt which is great everytime.
Soup was good. Sandwich was good. It's a shame because the cashier was incredibly rude. I asked a question about the dumpling... soup regarding flavorfulness ( some dumpling soup can be simple recipes with minimal ingredients. I was leaning towards theAfrican peanut soup for its spiciness). She shut her eyes for a couple seconds and then rolled her eyes. I don't know why Ididn't just walk out when she didn't answer me. I will NEVER EVER RETURN. Good luck Read more
Good soups, I really like their Italian wedding soup. They shouldn?t be offering curbside pickup. They never answered their... phone for the pickup and they only have one person working the store. So, If they have a customer in the store that one personis unable to run the order out to the car. Good food but bad service. Read more
The soups are fine ... nothing fantastic for the most part, but reasonably tasty and it seems as though using quality... ingredients. Decent soup isn't free - so I understand the price. today, a bowl of reasonable gazpacho for I think $8 is decent.I do have an issue though - the person behind the counter, as well as all the staff in the back, were not wearing masks. It'sawkward - I'm wearing a mask out of respect to them and other customers, since they don't know whether I've been careful, orperhaps have been exposed and am a carrier. But apparently they don't respect me (their customer!!!) enough to want to show thatthey are being careful and want to protect me? Not sure I'll go back again during the pandemic - it's just awkward. Maybe ifthey were doing curb-side pickup. Or if at least I could order (and pay) ahead and come quickly to snag the food and go. As itis, had to stand there with the person yakking away at me with no mask, and not even a partition between u. Urrgh! Read more
Do the pictures below look bland? Yes. Is it just the poor lighting? No. The soup was dull, over salted, and nothing remarkable... - certainly not worth the near $8 price tag. It?s a little disheartening when they like scrape the bottom of the bag to deathand don?t quite fill the bowl and don?t offer to down size to a full cup rather than a bowl for how expensive the stuff is. Idon?t know, just rubbed me the wrong way. I do recommend their day old baked goods, but make sure they actually charge you halfprice, they didn?t ring my day old cookie correctly at first. In a city with so many great soup options - ahem, Soup Bros andThe Soup House - I don?t have a reason to ever come here again. Read more
I?ve been going here for years to grab lunch, never have I had an issue like I did recently. I went in, ordered my food and... everything was fine- until the man who was helping me was NOT wearing gloves while handling my food. I won?t be back untilmanagement has their workers using gloves while handling someone else?s food. Nasty. Read more
