All your expectations of an original butter burger will be fulfilled at Solly's Grille; the softest onions and copious amounts... of butter makes this one of the best burgers I've had in a while. The meat Pattys are a little small but that's why I saw allthe regulars order two burgers at a time. Thicker patties are available but I suggest you go with the original first to get thefull experience. Excellent malts are also recommended. Can be crowded but I went about 2pm and had no wait. Classic diner with friendly staff and quick service. Came here on a Friday with a group. The Fish Fry was decent; good fish,... breading was crunchy but didn't have much flavor. Grilled cheese tasted very fresh and had plenty of cheese but it lacked astrong flavor. Fries are great, not salty. Butterburgers come with a generous amount of butter on top. Read more
Stop here on a recommendation from a friend who grew up In Milwaukee and it didn?t disappoint. A quaint little counter service... diner. I had the Solly and it was one of the best burgers I?ve ever had. But how can you beat the combo of a butter burgerwith cheese and bacon. The side of cheese curds we also top notch. Read more
